Keep. Baker played in ten first-class matches over a lengthy period and the article could be expanded with content from South African sources in addition to Wisden, CricketArchive, etc. Even if sufficient sources cannot be found to meet SIGCOV, the article qualifies for
WP:ATD-R and, as Baker played nine of his matches for Border, the obvious redirect target is
List of Border representative cricketers where he is already included. By the way, the fact that he played in ten first-class matches is itself evidence of notability. I agree, however, that the article should be expanded and that more citations are needed.

Thanks, that's fair comment. I've added a bit to it but we could really do with something from a South African source.

Redirect to
List of Border representative cricketers Sourcing for SA cricketers has always been difficult to find, especially for players of this era. Obviously he played a handful of names so has some notability, but not enough for a GNG pass. Redirect is a suitable
WP:ATD and preserves the history if something does crop up in the limited archives we have or Afrikaans sourcing.

Redirect to the list of Border cricketers as a sensible alternative to deletion. The chances are that if we could get access to paper copies of South African newspapers from the 50s and 60s we'd find stuff on him, quite possibly enough to keep the article. Access anytime soon to those sorts of sources is unlikely however and there's not enough to build a biography of just now. But it's not unreasonable to assume that when someone does get access to that that we'll be able to do so, so to preserve the attribution and sourcing we should redirect here.
