Declined at AfC because it's been impossible to verify Bethel's existence to meet GEOLAND, but disruptively moved to mainspace so we're here. Note, there is a Bethel Mission on Natchez Trace, which may be notable as a historic site, but this does not appear to be that. Star Mississippi 03:32, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

- Disclosure I have just indeffed the creator ( Bernardblaze55 ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) for moving additional copies of this into mainspace. I'm not sure what they're trying to do, but they'd been warned multiple times and this is disruptive. Star Mississippi 04:22, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

- Delete: I've tried to find anything about the place, and have failed. Many false positives on the word "Bethel". Fails WP:GEOLAND 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 19:07, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete GNIS lists Bethels in several other counties in MS but not Oktibbeha. There are a handful of homes connected to the 3.5-mile Bethel Road, and they may call the neighborhood by that name, hence the Bethel Baptist Church where the page's coordinates point, but that doesn't make it a notable community without substantive sources. - Comment: The bio of one of the county supervisors says he grew up in the "Bethel community," [1] so it exists as a place name at least in some local capacity. It does not appear in the Geographic Names Information System database, however, as Reywas92 notes. There are old references to it in the Starkville MS News, Starkville being the nearest large town. See eg [2], [3]. Creator appears to be a new editor unfamiliar with all our rules.
