bloat of other recently nominated fictional character articles, but does it ever need sources. Let's see what we can find: There is a real-life professional of the same name who's sending up false positives. The search goes better when "CSI" is added:

- Christian Today source is a plot summary.
- Channel Guide magazine source is a plot summary for the season 1 finale.
- Vulture source only briefly mentions Avery in a plot summary.
- I cannot find the full text of the first Google Scholar source anywhere.
- Second Google Scholar source is only a sole mention of the character.
- First Google Books source is just a brief mention.
- Second Google Books source mentions Avery in an interview and a summary of the show, and it's a brief mention.
