Delete, there was one non-fiction author from 1969 who used it as an epithet for her book
[1], but the term doesn't appear to have ever been in use. – Thjarkur(talk)12:59, 4 January 2021 (UTC)reply
Delete zero sources exist to show that anyone outside Wikipedia has ever used this term, or that it has ever been used in a reliable source. Or to explain why an uninhabited island is included but Guantanamo Bay is not.

Redirect to
Territories of the United States - this seems the most logical option, since American West Indies is a real term that some people used to, maybe still do, use to refer to the US territories in that region. Better to have this as a redirect than to later have a good-faith recreation of it as a separate page.

I think we can keep it. I think we can keep the article. I have added some sources and new information to the page. But a redirect would make a bit more sense. Its up to you guys.

Comment I removed the sources you added which are sources for other things i.e. West Indies. Why did you do that? That is not the correct way to source information. --

DeleteDestinationFearFan has misrepresented the sources added. Ref 1 is named as "American West Indies", but the title of this link is actually
"West Indies". Ref 2 is named "America and the West Indies", which is not a source for this article, the link is actually
"The Extension of American Influence in the West Indies". Ref 3 is named as "The American West Indies", but the link is called
"America, or the New World , or the West Indies".
DestinationFearFan, why did you do this? Why did you deliberately use the wrong names for these links? Not one of these backs up the article and refers to the
West Indies, not the supposed subject here. This shows even more clearly the page should be deleted as an unused term, and I have to give you a
WP:TROUT and now look at your other edits to see if you've falsely quoted things elsewhere.
