WhisperToMe, I need your comment and advice. I am having difficulty finding the citation for this - "All of these items [listed in the text] came from only one section of KAL 007 - the passenger cabin including the 747's distinctive hump. Nothing appeared on the beaches from the cargo area below - such as packing crates, luggage, electoric equipment, sports and musical equipment etc.[citation needed]" I will try a bit more. But I think that you are requesting the citation for the last part about nothing appearing from the cargo area, rather than all the first part about all that was recovered and it being from the cabin area. I do have the citation for that. Am I correct that the citation request is for the last part? If I can't find it after a bit, I would be content with just supplying the citation for the first part Bert Schlossberg ( talk) 19:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to work on getting all of that creation information reformatted and trimmed down for now, as I tried before I left. Currently, the information is just thrown down onto the articles without any real format or regard for importance. Examples include the notes of L's design in three different places at once and a trivial little note about a fighting style (that's the kind of info for a Death Note wiki). After that, I'd like to go on to merging those articles back to the main one if true reception cannot be found, but that can be worried about later. Is this something we can work out? TTN ( talk) 21:29, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I already have some reception for Light, L, and Misa (as of writing she has the most). I suppose I could find more (maybe related to the film) - In addition the person who reviewed the episodes that have L, Light, and Misa in them has not reviewed the ones with Near and Mello yet, so I suppose he will give reception relating to those characters when he gets to those. Also when the films are released in the USA more people will review it and it will be easier to add more reception to the film versions of the characters.
Regarding information in different places, reorganizing is fine. Which sentences should I group together?
Regarding information like the fighting style, what is best is to ask on the talk page and see if the information belongs in the article. The Death Note Wikia now exists, so I suppose this could be transferred there if there is a consensus that the "capoeira" fighting style bit is not encyclopedic. Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:MokubaKaiba.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you for creating Iwate Prefectural Board of Education. BTW, I found you moved Iwate Prefectural Morioka First High School to Morioka First High School. Do you have any special reason? Because this school says its official English name is Iwate Prefectural Morioka First High School. It's kind of confusing because Morioka Third High School says its official is "~Third", but in my opinion, as long as they say "Dai ichi" is an official, it's more appropriate to use the original one. -- Tomo_suzuki ( talk ) 22:09, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
This problem is common in California and Florida, and it appears in Oregon and Washington too. A tag has been placed on Moonshine Hill, Houston, Texas, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that
administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{

Please don't reverse an administrative action without discussion. You said "I'm going to have to immediately restore this page" - not you don't have to! You don't immediately have to do anything, and there's no harm in waiting a few hours and discussing it. My deletion was perfectly proper, it was a negative wholly unsourced biography, and such things may be summarily deleted under WP:BLP. It clearly violated BLP in every previous version. The onus isn't on me source it - unsourced negative material gets removed, period. The onus is on the person wanting it to source it (as you have done). If you had had the courtesy to discuss this with me, I would have indicated that had no problem restoring the article if you wished immediately to source it to comply with BLP. But you always discuss with the deleting admin first. Please do not do that again, the last person to reverse my BLP related deletions was put under an arbcom restriction. However, on this occasion there is no harm done.-- Docg 09:47, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

I've noticed these articles for a while, and am always impressed with the amount of work editors contributing to anime or video game character articles put into them. As someone who has added real-world impact/ notability to several soap opera character articles, with many more to go, I always appreciate character articles that already have that (one or the other, or both). It's great to go to a character article and see more than just plot. I just stopped by the Near (Death Note) article to see if he's L's son, and enjoyed reading the creation and concept for him. I wish he was L's son, though. Him and Mello (Death Note). A least one of the creators thought about making them L's sons. I started watching that show online (in Japanese) first, then got behind when my computer broke down (though both of my computers are currently broke down at the moment; been using PlayStation 3 to communicate online) and now I've been watching from the beginning (in English) on television.
Anyway, take care. Flyer22 ( talk) 06:11, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled " Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. I see that you have created new school district stubs. It would be wonderful if you could use {{ school-stub}} instead of just the basic stub template. Also, you may want to consider taking pictures of the schools, if you so wish.
Thanks for uploading Image:SaintSeiyaLogoUS.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.
If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. My issue with the page was that it did nothing to assert her notability. It essentially said "Pai Ping-ping is an actress from Taiwan, Republic of China. For a period she had married Ikki Kajiwara. She had a daughter Pai Hsiao-yen." That was completely what it covered, in very few more words. Acting doesn't by definition establish notability, or there would an article for Ciara Hughes. I have no objection to the article returning if it at least contains enough to guide the reader to her notability, but as it existed, it said nothing. What work did she do, what TV shows, what films, what is she known for? Just undeleting it doesn't help it. Wildhartlivie ( talk) 19:38, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Pai Ping-ping has been undeleted as per your request. Notice that as written at the deletion point, it did not assert notability and had no RS, nor any editor requested a hangon. That is not to say that it cannot be asserted of course. If you feel it can get to that point I see no problem with it. Cheers. -- Alexf 42 21:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

All I can remember is how Rocko kept the shirt in an ultra-secure underground vault, and at the end he met another wallaby old enough to be his grandfather, who said "this old rag? It's the family colors!" in reference to his shirt, which was exactly the same as the one owned by Rocko, which led Rocko to initially think the other wallaby was the one who stole his shirt. I haven't seen the actual show in at least fifteen years.

In response to this comment on my talk page, could you please provide more information to support the assertion that school districts are notable per se? A policy, guideline, previous discussion on the matter, anything? I see notability guidelines for individual schools, but not anything relating to school districts themselves. I'm still a little new here, so I'm trying to better understand what is and is not suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Thanks. — Latiligence ( talk) 13:14, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

SBISD designates feeder schools for the school district. For example, if you go to Wilchester Elementary, you go to Memorial Junior High and then you are fed into Stratford. A private school is not a feeder school for any school in SBISD, just like a public school is not a feeder school for a private one. To say otherwise implies some kind of connection or coordination between the schools, when there is none. Besides, given the fact that Memorial is only grades 9-12, every student there attended a different school before they attend Memorial, so the fact that one student is cited as attending a different school before going to Memorial may be verifiable, but it is not particularly noteworthy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.80.94.228 ( talk) 18:07, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading Image:AnnaKyoyama1.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. Hi Whisper to Me:
I notice you have started to recategorise countries in Diplomatic missions of the Republic of China and Diplomatic missions of Mexico
Earlier we had considered doing exactly the same thing, to make it reflect the UN Geocode scheme (which your edits roughly follow in taxonomy and nomenclature, albeit only for Asia). However it would be a considerable amount of work to do, and we would rather have a consistent style in these articles than make piecemeal changes.
There are 180+ such articles - do you really want to undertake all these changes?

I have generated a knowledge evolution map to denote your knowledge activities in Wikipedia according to your inputs including the creation and modification of contents in Wikipedia, and I need you to validate whether the generated knowledge evolution map matches the knowledge that you perceive you own it. Could you please do me a favor?
The deadline of my thesis defense is set by the end of June, 2008. There is no much time left for me to wrap up the thesis. If you can help me, please reply this message. I told you I had valid sources and I DID cite a few (which you have conveniently not included in YOUR edit). I even began to include your sources (for example the Beauty World one, in my latest edit) and I made things sound more objective by taking out "look out for Dwayne" and replacing it with more formal wording. I am indeed making an effort.
What you've done however is utterly rude. You do not explain yourself clearly or offer any constructive advice with helping to word the article but instead remove content and now you have blocked the site from anyone editing it! well in the anime, it's set around 2006-2007 in the first arc (check the episode with L setting up cameras in Light's room, in that episode, check the years in the video showing Ray Penber dieing). and the final part is set in 2013 (you see various of dates in some episodes concerning that part of the storyline).
Hi Whisper, I don't think we ever concluded our previous discusson on individual articles for elementary and middle schools. Why do you see a problem with merging the information about the Spring ISD elementary schools into the ISD article? There is really no information in the elementary school article that is not already in the ISD article, and you have provided no reliable sources to justify having an individual article on the elementary schools. Yes, the schools did receive recognition, but that can easily be mentioned (and is mentioned) in the ISD article. If there is no other information in reliable sources about the topic, then it should be merged to the parent article. Karanacs ( talk) 01:52, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

an automated bot. A tag has been placed on
Highland Middle School, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be

Highland Middle School is a disambiguation page that only points to a single article, or no articles at all.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting
Highland Middle School, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at

A tag has been placed on Amy Anderson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact
one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

We do not include details of closed diplomatic missions. If we were to break with this practice, we would need the details of all missions that a particular country (eg DPRK) ever opened. Providing only the missions that we knew about would be misleading, since we would not be certain that it would be conclusive. In some articles (Australia, UK) we include details of missions that were closed, but we do not suggest it is a definitive list.
You still appear to have difficulty in understanding what these articles are about, and frankly, this is frustrating. That these articles are about diplomatic networks, not specific missions. They are summaries; they are not intended to contain exhaustive details on particular issues. Could I respectfully ask you to follow the style that is consistent amongst the other articles, or seek consensus first if you think you have a good idea. Kransky ( talk) 13:49, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

If you plan to expand the article, you can request that
administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{

"[1] - Which episode is this? WhisperToMe (talk) 02:57, 10 May 2008 (UTC)"
I wish I could remember-it's the one where Rocko's favorite shirt is stolen, and he frantically tries to get it back.

Hi Whisper, do you have a ref to replace "Masashi Kishimoto Interview - Naruto Information. narutocentral.com." Jutsu (Naruto). That website is a fansite and it would be better to replace it with a source you used in the main Naruto article.

If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.

I am a master student at the Institute of Technology Management, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Currently I am wrapping up my master thesis titled “Can Wikipedia be used for knowledge service?” In order to validate the knowledge evolution maps of identified users in Wikipedia, I need your help.
I will send you the URL link of the first part once I receive your response. The completion of my thesis heavily relies much on your generous help.

And you've changed Dwayne back to voice-actor. He is not just a voice actor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.146.155.67 ( talk) 16:14, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

well in the anime, it's set around 2006-2007 in the first arc (check the episode with L setting up cameras in Light's room, in that episode, check the years in the video showing Ray Penber dieing). and the final part is set in 2013 (you see various of dates in some episodes concerning that part of the storyline).

Hi, I noticed you have added details of the suburbs where certain American embassies are. As mentioned earlier, I do not consider this level of detail to be encyclopedic. The intention of the articles is to describe diplomatic networks in a global context, not to list more exactly their locations. Kransky ( talk) 15:12, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

I found out that there are two different stores named Food Town in Houston. The one originally created by me was supposed to be about Lewis Food Town. This means that the logo there is also the Lewis logo. You might want to confirm that all the info is about Gerland's and not Lewis.
