Hi Alivinicious715. I am researching Admiral Yevgeni Alekseyev and noticed you edited it to say he is "rumored" to have been an illegitimate son of Alexander II. I may have some more info about that from my own research and believe he was likely a relative of mine by blood. I'd love hear more about what you know. I also messaged your source Kowner, but have not heard back.

Mikhail Belyaev moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Mikhail Belyaev, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. ( ?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed ( verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( in the enhanced toolbar, or if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. — C.Fred ( talk) 16:30, 20 April 2018 (UTC) reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Paul von Rennenkampf. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've failed to provide reliable sources for the name change. (And yes, per our WP:RS rules, another Wikipedia cannot be directly cited as a source.) You've also added a source that contradicts the very item it supports (the caption on the coat of arms). I strongly suggest you discuss this at Talk:Paul von Rennenkampf to see if other editors can assist you in providing valid sources for the changes. C.Fred ( talk) 21:49, 20 April 2018 (UTC) reply

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled " Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Edit summaries and your content additions

Hello, it has been brought up to you twice that you do not use edit summaries. If you used edit summaries, this would save other editors time in evaluating your contributions and is a relatively simple step in that you only have to write a few words to describe your edit. Secondly, in Wikipedia we use references for WP:VERIFIABILITY, and though the sources for much of what you add will be Russian, you should still add properly formatted references so the reader can see where the information came from. I am notifying you of this because currently most of your content additions are entirely unsourced. Kges1901 ( talk) 01:27, 27 August 2018 (UTC) reply
