" This invitation is being sent only to those projects where the survey has been translated in full or in majority into your language." Well, I do not think it looks like Swedish at all. Where can we improve the translation? -- Lavallen ( talk) 17:44, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
Hey there!
I hope a few other Wikinewsies have noted the highlighting of the survey; it wasn't until shortly after completing it that bawolff (whose done a lot of the gadget work for Wikinews) suggested I chase up on mw:Summer of Code 2012 regarding some of the much-needed development for Wikinews.
I know that's something I should probably take up with Fabrice, but I get the distinct impression he's swamped with efforts to "subvert" the feedback tool into a recruitment tool. Anyway, with a picture worth a thousand words, I've documented our current review setup, and some of the issues, as sub-pages of my MediaWiki userpage. If I knew who would: (i) Find this most-interesting, (b) Pick apart the workflow with a view to breaking into codable requirements, and (c) Have time to do so—or at least enthuse a GSoC student to do so—I'd be bugging them instead of you. If you know who, point and I'll shoot. ;-)
Incidentally, if you deal with legal stuff, I hope you got to see my emails regarding misuse of the Wikinews mark, and going after cybersquatted domains. The exchange with Michelle suggest she at least found it most amusing. -- Brian McNeil / talk 17:02, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Since you were involved in Wikipedia:SOPA from the WMF perspective, I wonder if the foundation is aware of commons:https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Freedom_of_Panorama_2015 and Wikipedia:Freedom of Panorama 2015 issues? -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:56, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
There's a discussion going on at Wikipedia talk:Conflict of interest#Deceptive advertising, FTC on Native advertising. It would be great if you or anyone else from WMF legal could take a look at the discussion, and if there are any comments that you would like to make there in light of what editors have been saying, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! -- Tryptofish ( talk) 22:08, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
