Hey there - I hope you're well! I just wanted to let you know that Eggplante.com has been doing gaming reviews and interviews, attending shows like E3, etc. for three years now, and finding out the Wii U ran on HDMI was from Eggplante.com exclusively first. No other gaming outlet had that listed. The "behind the scenes" sneak around was back in the private media area. Please take a look at http://www.eggplante.com/category/gaming/ for more gaming posts from us. We're not as big as IGN or GameSpot, sure, but we are still a news site, and while it may be a bit self-serving to put our link up there, it is still valid and of course in an un-obtrusive space. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean like a fansite for the particular person, I meant like a fansite that documents competitive video gaming or whatevers going on here. These are small, obscure websites that still don't really qualify as a reliable sources. If Gamespot or IGN or someone well known was providing coverage, then that would be a different story. The same thing i have said to Ridernyc I said NO. I am a 17 years old student, living in Singapore, writing wikipedia articles about dota players from china/denmark/russia/ukraine/USA who are respected by the strong dota community. I fail to see how that thread is even remotely relevant to the current AfDs for notability issues on all of your creations. It has been established that "pro DotA players" were not notable, I believe it might be a good idea to just accept that and move on to do something productive. No offense, I know you mean well, but as explained at length and by numerous people, these people just don't have their place in an encyclopedia. I wanted to add a new section to Grace for Drowning about the music videos of albums. right now 3 videos released from the album and each one of them has their own meaning. i thought it's good to add a section for them and write about each video and their meanings. so funny that steven start walking and following these Mind Control things.

The visual aspect to his music does seem to be something important to SW's overall "experience" with his music, so it may be worthwile to include to some degree. Right now, there's nothing in the article about it at all, right? At the bare minimum, we could name the videos and briefly describe what going on in them. However, we wouldn't want to go into the video's "meanings" unless we've got some reliable sources from SW or someone describing it. You were right to remove the info, but I will note the UK Rock chart is based entirely on singles sales - songs can and often do stay on for years, and often reach No. 1 years after release, given the slump rock music is in. I see no need for personal attacks! I am active on at least one Wikia (where I am admin and maintain, etc.), and SergeCross is correct that facts are unsourced. (In reference to gaming Wikias), most are made by and for gamers, more to help, aid and otherwise guide them than to provide neutral, verifiable information. Salvidrim, I have been dealing with this user for a while now. "Tailsman67", or he uses the above IP or User talk:98.71.62.59. He has no interest in following policies/suggestions or having a rational discussion it seems, so I tend to just do my best to clean up/revert the mess he leaves behind. I imagine eventually he'll tire himself out and stop, or do enough wrong to get blocked. Heck, if you look at his talk page and contributions from the "98..." I don't see what the big problem is with getting an account. You'll be blocked only if you act in a way that deserves a block, whether you use IPs or an account. If you don't want to be blocked, just follow policies, and nobody's gonna come after you! Unless you intend to keep using IPs because you intend to continue being disruptive, in which case I can only condemn that behaviour and suggest you find better outlets. Sorry, sometimes I get tired of repeating the same "Provide a source for this claim" But you are correct, the info was right to be removed, but an edit summary could have been used as well.

A pointer for you: Some experienced editors get irritated when you give "canned responses" (templates) like that to them. (Looking at my contributions, for example, it's pretty easy to gather that I'm well aware of how edit summaries work.) I don't mind much, but others may give you some heat for it... I didn't think a CN tag was worth it because they said it came from something called "Beano", which as far as I know, either not a reliable source anyways, or at least not an authority on video games. Futhermore, if we kept every entry like that, the development section would devolve into a laundry list of "...and then Nintendo power said there was a Mario course", On this date, Eurogamer said there's a Peach course. I certainly would like to in theory, but I don't think he's quite done enough for an admin to take action yet. Technically, I don't think he's broken WP:3RR, and while he is being stubborn and unhelpful...I don't think he's gone over that edge yet. 2 things I think would be really good to do in the mean time though would be

1. Keep writing reminders of policies/guidelines he's breaking on his talk page, if he continues to break them.
2. Please join the discussion on the discussion page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Skyward_Sword#Reception_section_-_.22Universal_acclaim.22 I know you have an opinion on this, so it'd be great if you chimed in too. I thank you for addressing this. It looks like majority of the changes are justified now. One thing not resolved though: that source you presented, as far as I can tell, does not say anything at all about "Americana", or any other of those genres that you added. (Swing, new wave, etc.) Can you provide a different source? Or point to where in that interview that he mentions those genres? If not, it should probably be removed... Yes, it's as Salvidrim said, an old wikipedia page isn't a reliable source or "proof". This should probably be discussed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dreamcast#Discontinued_date - the discussion I started at the Dreamcast article. The confusion has to do with what we're talking about. All of the sources your provided in your edits referred to discontinuing software, or repairs. I'm sorry to have offended you, but it's not just my personal standpoint that deems them as unreliable, but rather Wikipedia's official policy towards "user generated" content that deems them as "not reliable". Again, the problem is that there's no one checking over the information. Super Mario wiki has no editorial staff fact checking their information. Websites like IGN, do. And that's why IGN is considered reliable in the wikipedia sense. I could, in theory, go over to Super Mario wiki, make a claim that Mario is 200 years old, and then use it as a source here, when in fact, that would be very wrong. You can't do that to IGN articles. There's no sense of wikipedia superiority there; wikipedia articles can't be used as reliable sources either.

As for your other point, youtube is to be avoided because of WP:COPYVIO problems, where Youtube doesn't really have the rights to such videos, and thus shouldn't be used to sources. In cases like this, where it is in fact most likely real, it shouldn't be that hard to just find it's original source, or a reliable source, and use that instead. Using multiple IPs, accounts, etc., especially when they do not edit concurrently, is not technically against the rules. But the moment one of them is banned, I have no doubt he'll go to the others, and THEN they can be banned, one by one, as he burns through his IPs, for ban evasion, through SPI.
