Pakistani support during Second Nagorno-Karabakh war

Hello. I noticed you're very active on the article: List of wars involving Pakistan.

I wanted to mention that Pakistan provided diplomatic support to Azerbaijan during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh war, and it mentions as such in the Armenia-Pakistan relations page, with sources. It's worth mentioning.

Since the Korean war (where Pakistan provided mostly diplomatic aid) was added to the list, I assume the same can be done for the Second Nagorno-Karabakh war. I'd edit it myself, but I'm not too experienced with wikipedia.

Anyways, keep up the good work. OperativePhase33 ( talk) 00:39, 10 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Hi there, yes it is true that pakistan provided diplomatic support but also to noted the financial support in korean war although it denied to send troops, but the other form of support was such that it cannot be ignored.
However for Second nargono-karbakh war, there is all sorts of diplomatic support but there is no clear statement by pakistani military or political leadership for pakistani military involvement or arms sales, instead there are allegations or claims for pakistani support by armenian prime minister and some journalists claiming it with videos of JF-17 [8] The Government has rejected claims of any military support for the time. If you have any valuable sources for pakistani support kindly mention it here in Talk:Second Nagorno-Karabakh War to discuss the involvement with other editors and then after with agreement Pakistan can be added as a beligerent and then later in the war list.

Battle of Pandu

I have reassessed the article as B class. However, it would be easier for the reader to follow if you change "opposing forces" and "enemy" to Indian forces and Pakistani forces as appropriate. I appreciate your effort to vary the term occasionally but it makes it more difficult to keep track of the parties. The reader would also have to keep track of which units belonged to each army in those cases. Thanks for the comprehensive article. Donner60 ( talk) 07:49, 14 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Thanks for asessesing the article, what i know is that this attack is part of the ongiong insurgency in Kpk and Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in which the militants affliated to the TTP conducted these attacks, by considering that it does place it in military section.
Sorry i didn't notice the talk page error I'll fix that. Rahim231 ( talk) 18:02, 18 March 2024 (UTC) reply

I did not intentionally write in the exact same words, i took the excerpt from the Raja Muhammad Sarwar page. Rahim231 ( talk) 14:52, 26 March 2024 (UTC) reply
You have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license, and helps prevent mistakes such as mine. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Walikum-musalam brother, no worries im trying my best to add wars to the list and then get its quality assessed. there are alot of wars which aren't included just like the dhofar war in which Pakistan helped Oman. I will add these wars soon with citations.
Also another thing i have seen your recent edits and pages you have created and i commend your contributions, it would be great if you complete the article and raise their quality. thanks Rahim231 ( talk) 15:45, 5 April 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Rahim231 Brother assalamualaikum some more wars involving Pakistan are first JVP insurrection, Rohingya conflict, second JVP insurrection, second Libyan civil war, first and second MQM insurrections M Waleed ( talk) 16:18, 13 April 2024 (UTC) reply
The thing is actually that there are alot of conflicts and adding them to the war list takes some time and research, And i have been studying these wars such as the Sri-lankan and Afghan civil wars. I will slowly add these to avoid mistakes. Also in addition to my exams coming up i will be less active but still i will add some wars before i become less active for 2 weeks. Thanks for pointing these wars out, Although i dont think MQM insurrection would be a war, its page is not not much developed and given attention, it does not even contain a infobox. Rahim231 ( talk) 04:27, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Brother assalamualaikum,actually MQM insurrection has the following articles
And all those have infoboxes, anyways thanks for your contributions and I'll wait M Waleed ( talk) 13:45, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{ Ctopics/aware}} template.
