Hi! Thanks a lot for reminding. I have been busy for pretty some time. The time I am now in Wiki, usually spending for Delhi, which is in FAC now. It will be greatly helpful if you can change the biography(and other stuffs, too, like selected article) periodically, as you are pretty active in the portal. May I request you to do the same? Hello Sir, how are you? I have become very infrequent in wikipedia nowadays. Could not update portal:West Bengal regularly. I request you to try to update the contents sometimes. Wow! this Legendary personalities in Bengal is excellent, very nice read. However I have some doubts over the name of the article. "Legendary" may encompass many more. Hi, The purpose of the tagging is to list all articles about which, WP Bangladesh members may be interested. We took the tag structure from WP India and other such project tags. It also helps in assessment. Once a talk page is tagged, an automated bot running every night updates a list (of articles in various classes or unassessed). This is shown in Wikipedia:WikiProject Bangladesh (right side box). So, our members can evaluate articles, and then take necessary actions later on.
It is ok if you find articles about which WP bd members may be interested, and add the tags. As mentioned above, that will add the articles to our assessment list.
Thanks

Going through many of your created articles (especially those that gets readied for DYK), I find a recurring tendency that does not follow Wikipedia: Manual of Style. According to Wikipedia:Footnotes, "the ref tag should be directly after the punctuation mark without an intervening space". Though I generally correct this, sometime some footnotes may be missed. It would be great if you place ref superscripts according to the Wikipedia:Footnotes while creating the article.

I have started working on the article Education in Bangladesh. It was in an extremely bad shape. The last few edits were turning it into a motley hotchpotch of text, link and image for private university/English medium agenda-pushers. Even without that the article had little content. I have began by putting in an enormous amount of fresh text, and even more massive amount of resource links (Banglapedia, government sites and downloadable pdf links). Now the real work should begin. Would you lend a hand in this? I can't do it alone. Do you have anyone else in mind who might help? That person doesn't need to be Bangladeshi. Hi. Saw your message. Sorry, could not reply earlier as I was out of station for a few days. As you can see on my user page, that I am working on (or will shortly work on) the Balurghat article. As the backlog page says, the list of what I want to do has grown quite long :) As per the list, I will take up the Balurghat article, once I am done with the Alizée article.
Well, town and cities articles are not really my cup of tea. But I am interested in articles for Balurghat and others in Dakshin Dinajpur, as I am from there. I have enough information (and referencible material) for Balurghat, but I am afraid not enough for the rest (only what I know of, but me knowing is not referencible, is it?). But, we can definitely take up the articles and keep on improving and over time we will put references in those. As for the towns you mentioned, lets start the articles as a stub, and editors familiar with the area can chip in as they can. I could gather more information about them but my problem is that I wont be going home before May - so any serious work on those articles have to wait till then.
Also, what classifies a place as a town or a city? Indian Census Law classifies an area with a population of 5000+ as urban area. Also, 10,000+ population area as notified area, 20,000+ as town and having a municipal committee or a municipal corporation as a city. Balurghat does not have a municipal corporation, but has a municipal committee. So, can we say it is a city without any reference? Or do we need a copy of the official order before we can claim so? Have you any idea regarding this? I wish I were in Balurghat so I could resolve this immediately. :) Anyways, looking forward to a great collaboration with you. -- soum talk 04:05, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

(ii) Ram Mohan Roy, the father of medern India, should be a featured article. Please give it a thought. -- Seejee 15:22, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Hello sir! Thanks for adding the information on J.C. Bose. Hope it would be ready by 1 to 2 months. I have been busy for past few days, as I have an exam tomorrow (30 March). Will look into the article after the exam. Also I wish we could improve University of Calcutta. I guess you must have loads of information on CU, right? I started to reorganise the history section a few days back, and did till 1900s. Please have a look. Also pending is work on Bengal. However, Bengal is in much better state, and could be run in FAC after some combination of statistics and minor issues.
Amartya is really doing great job in Kaziranga, it should go in FAC soon. As of now, two more India-related articles are being readied for FAC - Rashtrakuta dynasty and Climate of India. So, hope to see a lot of Indian activities in FAC in near future :) In fact, Himachal Pradesh is expected to be ready by late May. Just saw India national cricket team in FAC! I shall reply to your exceptionally lengthy message with an appropriate length later !!! I have a query right now, that's why this quick reply. Who was Deshpran Sashmal?-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 14:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Hello! I have started working on Jagadish Chandra Bose. As usual, I don't have any printed reference. So I am looking forward to you for providing some printed references. The article does not have a good structure yet. Let me build up a good skeleton. You can add references wherever you please and also contribute in writing. Our final goal is featured status. However, we don't need to hurry. Small advancements are enough to build up a final respectable article. Your help is sought. Regards.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 21:02, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
This is a reminder of an earlier post to your talk page. Article Shahbag could really use some comments from you, if not an actual edit. Aditya Kabir 04:32, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi! Please listen this. It's a big file, may take some time to download. Ragib and Rama's Arrow talking on the status of Wikipedia in South Asia. This has also been posted in Wikipedia talk:Notice board for India-related topics. Regards.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 04:54, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi! I added a bit on the repeated clashes against administration on the industrial land acquisition issue in the "History" section of West Bengal. Have left a message in talk page. Please see and comment if you think necessary. Regards.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 08:31, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Just wanted to say Thanks for making Neamatpur look good. Keep up the great work! — vedant ( talk • contribs) 22:14, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Really nice work Niyogi. Please continue with the same spirit. Congratulations. -- Bhadani 14:20, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Hello Sir, how are you? Can you comment something on the discussion Talk:India#Edit in "History" section in the talk page of the article India? Regards.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 05:17, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
You are doing a wonderful job in putting on Wikipedia the biographies of lesser known people who have contributed enormously in shaping our lives. I have two requests - (i) please put up a biography of Syed Amir Ali. He serves a place in Wikipedia. I am sure you can do it.
Bye the way, thanks for Kolkata West International City and Indrajit Gupta. Regards. Will talk to you soon :) -- Dwaipayan ( talk) 05:53, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
You know what's weird? I actually do not recall ever creating that article, but it looks like I did. I think it was a redlink for another article long ago. Baka man 16:16, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I was thinking of having a task force, focussing on Dakshin Dinajpur articles, set up. In this regard I am sort of seeking others opinions and who might be interested, so that it can be formalized. What do you think? -- soum (0_o) 19:34, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
I have just put the article to peer review. Would you care to take a look? Aditya Kabir 20:14, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
