Thank you for uploading Image:Aofwcover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading Image:JessieTeamRocket.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Hi,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. File:NoLineU2Promo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate

(to require that you be credited), or any tag
here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Allmusic's review was posted when I edited the page. However, there appears to be a problem on Allmusic's end where the page doesn't always display the review, which is what must have happened when you tried clicking the link. I'm not sure what Wikipedia's policy is if a link doesn't always work, so I didn't undo your change. I'll let somebody else edit the Wikipedia entry once Allmusic gets the problem sorted out. It's probably going to be difficult to get his one to meet the criteria at WP:DYK#DYK_rules in time. Basically, as long as the article is long enough and the hook that you choose is in the lead and cited, it's worth submitting. A good hook for that article, for example, would have been: "Did you know that the song " White as Snow" on U2's latest album, No Line on the Horizon (2009), was written from the perspective of a soldier serving in Afghanistan?" But you'd need a citation in the article that specifically states that. If you're able to get the article expanded to over 1500 characters today, I'd go with something like that. Best of luck, -- JD554 ( talk) 07:52, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. In the "No Line on the Horizon" entry you mention that the "rip-off" issue is not worthy of mention. I agree. But this might be worth mentioning: Sugimoto has said in an interview today with the Japan Times that he has asked for no money for the photo use - that it was a barter "artist to artist." He also describes how he met Bono and how Bono was inspired by his photo to write the NLOTH song. The barter is that Sugimoto can now use that song. http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/fa20090320a1.html Jjk;ww ( talk) 07:01, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

So even if i add both articles that give both the first and second week sales i can't post what they equal together? A user can simply go to each and see for themselves the difference in each week and add them together...
i don't see the big deal here. i'm providing accurate information with regards to sales using two credible sources. the purpose of an encyclopedia is to provide the user with the best/most current information possible is it not? which is what i'm continually trying to do. i'm not fabricating this stuff and it's not "original research." unless you consider me adding two numbers together...which would be lame. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.7.241.89 ( talk) 06:18, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
But i included TWO articles: one with week one sales and the other with week two sales. it's simply a matter of adding the two figures together and therefore determining total sales thus far. i really don't see the problem...

Thanks for uploading Image:U2RedZone.gif. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{
di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. Thanks for uploading Image:Chi (Chobits).jpg.
You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 05:30, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading Image:DiscotequeU2.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle ( talk) 12:29, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
I see you have replaced all the Template:Pokémon films and Template:Pokémon games with Template:Pokemon media. Good work, but... I suggested a few days ago to rename it to Template:Pokémon. No big deal, because Template:Pokemon media will automatically redirect to Template:Pokémon after the move, but I just thought I'd let you know. Cheers, Face 09:32, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading
File:NoLineU2Promo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate
copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{
PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{
self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag
here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI ( talk) 00:41, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Turn this, into this ;-) - If some silly billy is writing things like that, WP:RBI might save you having to expend energy typing in an edit summary. Just a thought though. Keep up the great work! Scarian Call me Pat! 10:47, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
It's out there in full already. Shame you don't have e-mail. I've only had it 30mins, but I think it could be better than anything since AB. There's 1000's of posts over at interference. 2009 is "there year". Great to see you keeping out the good work here. cheers -- Merbabu ( talk) 11:39, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Are you aware of http://www.atu2.com/. Their news section could be a great resource for u2 articles. -- Merbabu ( talk) 14:47, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
are you on chat? gmail or MSN? i see you have no e-mail. It would be good if you can e-mail me - no probs if you can't though. -- Merbabu ( talk) 07:06, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
I removed your heading because I don't think it's necessary yet to split the album's history into a section dedicated to talking about the songs. I tried to explain my point of view here. Feel free to leave your thoughts. Y2kcrazyjoker4 ( talk) 15:42, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Ok add it i wont remove it but if someone else dose you will have to talk to them about it. And sorry if i ever made you feel like i was attacking you. Cheers Kyle1278 ( talk) 02:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Excuse me but how does this improve anyone's understanding of the article " Get on Your Boots"? You are not free to use unlicensed content in this way as freely as you have been doing. -- 140.203.12.240 ( talk) 20:03, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate the effort on Get on Your Boots, but I had to delete the Bulgarian chart ... it's listed on WP:BADCHARTS. There's a few charts on acharts.us that are reliable mirrors of unreliable charts, and their Bulgarian chart is one of them.— Kww( talk) 02:43, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
That's not a problem, i'm loving the success NLOTH is enjoying myself. I'm sure magnificent will be a top 10 hit, based on how its charting now! Suede67 ( talk) 21:29, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Very nice! I've never give OS1 enough listens! I'm guilty. I may do now. But slug and miss sarajevo are classics. I did forget about NLOTH haha, i think it will creep up to the top 5. Have to go now, early morning here in india. C ya Suede67 ( talk) 01:30, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Could I move the following?
From List of Pokémon episodes (season 1) to List of Pokémon: Indigo League episodes
From List of Pokémon episodes (season 1) to List of Pokémon: Adventures On The Orange Islands episodes
From List of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl episodes to List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl episodes
From List of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl Battle Dimension episodes to List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimension episodes
and
From List of Pokémon: Diamond, Pearl & Platinum episodes to List of Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Platinum episodes
Thanks in advance. - Eugene Krabs ( talk) 17:51, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

{{
di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — neuro (talk) (review) 22:24, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
