On 23 August 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Ibitekerezo, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Ibitekerezo explains the history of Rwandan dynasties in poetic form? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ibitekerezo. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Hey Lemurbaby. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.
We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.
Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) 21:45, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello again, Lemurbaby. Thanks for agreeing to review Presidential Council (Benin) for GA status. Unfortunately, the nominator, User:QatarStarsLeague, has not edited in nearly a month, although when he stopped editing he had several article up as GANs. I noticed this when I reviewed Al-Mansuriya, which is very close to GA status already. Another article he nominated, French Sudan, was recently reviewed; I took the nomination over, making the all improvements requested by the nominator, and the article was promoted. (It was already quite close to GA status.) On the other hand, another of his articles, Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants, was also reviewed... but it needed extensive expansion. I don't have that expertise, so I chose not to get involved, and the GAN failed.
If you feel the Presidential Council (Benin) is nearly at GA level, I'll be happy to take the nomination over (at least, if QatarStarsLeague doesn't return). But if it's going to take a major extension or extensive rewrite, I'll probably pass on that. Just keep me in mind. All the best, – Quadell ( talk) 15:00, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Lemurbaby. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Ibitekerezo, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jeremy112233 ( talk) 20:52, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
I have added some more text with book references. You may like to see before I nominate it for DYK. Thanks.-- Nvvchar. 00:17, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. It is already an approved DYK. It should be appearing on main page shortly.-- Nvvchar. 23:29, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

With your interest in Madagascar-related topics i always pictured you as someone from Madagascar or maybe as a French :). My apologies for jumping to conclusions, i certainly didn't mean to imply anything negative with it. GermanJoe ( talk) 07:43, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
I know from the edits that other people helped with the Ibitekerezo article and DYK. But as you were the first editor of the article, figured I'd pass on how cool the article was. Really interesting read. Thanks. AbstractIllusions ( talk) 03:10, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi Jagwar, it was fascinating reading about the process of your development of the Malagasy Wictionary and Wikipedia. It's incredible what one dedicated and altruistic person with initiative and the right combination of knowledge can do for the benefit of others. I have a couple of questions for you.
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Jean-Joseph Rabearivelo you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Just as a heads-up, I will be out of town and away from all internet access from early Saturday the 21st until late Monday the 23rd, and the book-ending Friday and Tuesday are dodgy as well. So if you leave comments regarding this review during that time, I won't be able to get back with you until Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest.
Thank you very much for reviewing and promoting the article. I would also appreciate it if you have some comments about what the article needs to be ready for a FAC. Mohamed CJ (talk) 06:42, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi Lemurbaby. I've noticed you have had a couple musician articles waiting at GAN for over a month - i've had one waiting there for over a month as well ( DJ AM) and I don't relish the idea of waiting another month or longer before someone reviews it. Just making you an offer, if you start reviewing mine i'll review one of yours. No worries if you're not interested though. Have a nice day. Freikorp ( talk) 22:59, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

I have nominated Rwanda for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status.
