when did the party began to admit non-whites? was it 1992 or 1994? which year did it stop being a ethnic nationalist and white supremacist party?
is the following statements true? With support for ending Apartheid secured among white South Africans, the party opened up its membership to all racial groups and rebranded itself as no longer being an ethnic nationalist party only representing Afrikaners, but would henceforth be a civic nationalist and conservative party representing all South Africans. Thanks for reviewing my draft about Abdou Diop. Can you please tell me why it was rejected?
As I see that notability is shown in all sources provided. They are just not in english but they are centered , secondary and independant. I have read criteria for public figures before trying to create the draft.

Hi Ian, I was surprised that you removed the Nomination for Deletion on WolfSSL ( /info/en/?search=WolfSSL). You haven't participated in editing any technology or cybersecurity-related pages in the past. It seems that perhaps you simply have a philosophy that COI editing is okay and that the employees should be given a chance to add better sources? Usually editors don't remove an AfD tag unless they have already addressed the concerns and improved the article. Would you please do so, or restore the AfD tag and defer to another editor? So sorry I struggle to understand. You are asking me to fix the link and I will but does that also that fix the problem of "...- it is not clear that the subject meets WP:AUTHOR."? Or is this a bigger issue that the author, as the subject, may not meet WP:AUTHOR. I posted my question at the Teahouse and an answer was that just because my author has a lot of works doesn't mean my author meets "... 'published', 'reliable, 'secondary' sources..." criteria because notability isn't inherited. With so very little biographical information about my subject anywhere, by the guidelines this article may not be publishable. Do you agree or am I giving up too soon? Thank you. Im sorry if I am doing this incorrectly :D Still new to Wikipedia. The reason I keep reverting the Port Elizabeth wiki back to pre Gqeberha days is because of the way the name was "officially" voted in, I see you're also quite active in South African politics so I dont think I need to explain what happened but im more than happy to do so. TL;DR the name is still not "official official" as the DA and Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (or atleast the mayor) is fighting to either change the name back to Port Elizabeth or Nelson Mandela city. In the mean time I am reverting it back to Port Elizabeth as the name is still up in the air if that makes sense. Have a great day :D (PS: cool contributions :) ) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ILikeTrams ( talk • contribs) 18:23, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi Greenman, thanks for reviewing my draft Draft:Nicolas Aguzin. Well noted your comments on not having enough reference to prove his notability, but I would like to highlight that he is the CEO of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, just like Nasdaq or NYSE in the US and LSE in the UK. His preceder, Charles Li, also had a wikipage with only 4 references... /info/en/?search=Charles_Li. Can you pls review again? Thanks. Bubblyheap ( talk) 10:31, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

Just a heads-up that you declined this draft for notability, although the subject is notable per WP:NPOL. Just a heads up for future reference. :) Curbon7 ( talk) 08:30, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
Dear @ Greenman:, Thank you for taking the time to review my draft Draft:Ling Shao. The reason you used to decline my draft is as follows: "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia."
I think it is necessary to reiterate before I re-submit that the article is based on Wikipedia:Notability (academics) criteria because the subject is a well-known academic. Concretely, he has been elected as a Fellow of the IEEE, the IAPR, the IET and the British Computer Society. Furthermore, he was selected as a ‘Highly Cited Researcher’ by the Web of Science in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He also has authored/co-authored over 400 papers in top conferences/journals including ICCV/CVPR/ECCV/NeurIPS/ICML/TPAMI/IJCV.
I think all the above achievements are sufficient to show that he is a notability academic. Could you please review the draft from the perspective of Wikipedia:Notability (academics)? Best wishes. Future of AI ( talk) 15:58, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi @ Greenman:, I did read your comment on my draft for Wayne Nelson. The awards that professor Nelson has received are all notable and far from being trivial. The IEEE fellowship is a legitimate accomplishment in the field of Engineering. I see your point regarding my sentence reliability icon; Even though as a reliability engineer I see Professor Nelson as an icon in the field, I might've been a bit biased, so I am removing the sentence you referred to. Hi Ian! You had reviewed this draft on 8 July and declined, mentioning that it read like an advertisement. I had made some changes to this and it was rejected for notability shortly after that.
I have recently made more changes to this draft to remove any promotional language and kept it strictly for what the company is and its history. I would appreciate any help in getting this draft approved.
Here's a quick overview of the new additions: I have included a reference from a prominent Indian magazine, Outlook Business, that has significant coverage on the company. This article covers the history of the company, its current business. I have also included another Indian magazine, The Week, that had some more coverage on the company's R&D. There is also a news report by Reuters that talks about the corporate demerger that formed this company. Are these not considered to be sufficient coverage for notability? From my understanding, these are significant coverage that is also independent, reliable, and secondary. Please let me know what else I can add that can get this draft approved.
This is also a publically traded company that is also frequently covered by financial news outlets. Should I also include independent press coverage and analyst reports of the stock?
This is just to let you know that the Wikimedia ZA AGM will be taking place on 25 September 2021 See below for more details.

This player is not a professional athlete. The page should be evaluated using criteria for amateur sports person. Conference-level awards are listed as acceptable notability. This player has been awarded the conference freshman of the year, was named to the conference all-freshmen team, and most recently was named on the all- conference preseason team (link below). Additionally, the player was named a NCAA Player of the week. While the player of the week is not a major award, coupled with the college awards, this player should meet notability requirements for an amateur sports person.

Brocchini holds a doctor title from the Sorbonne and regularly collaborates with MSH Paris Nord. Her writings have a larger spectrum than the philosophy of Benjamin. Her five books are are appreciated and recognised by Déotte and other philosophers. She is not a professor. Her career is similar to Benjamin's one. Hello. Regarding your change of the ANC shortname, this is causing issues on election articles like 2019 South African general election, where the party name is too long for a single row in the infobox. Could you please help me by explaining what kind of references are needed? the page is about a scientific journal. Hello Greenman,
I was wondering why you reviewed the Cape Independence article and gave it a B rating. Almost every source I can find describes the movement as fringe and fairly tiny. Yet the article in question makes it seem very popular. As someone who lives in Cape Town, I assume you would have heard of this movement. The article is lacking a neutral POV, presents fringe views as mainstream, and is unbalanced towards the other side. I am requesting that you remove the high rating. What are your thoughts on the article in question? Desertambition ( talk) 09:03, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

I would like to add that this article concerns a very well-known personality in Iran (1903-1986) and that there is already a wikipedia page in Persian and one in French on him.

Concerning the declined draft on David Porter (writer) /info/en/?search=Draft:David_Porter_(writer): The template says that the references "do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people)."
Had Porter held a position in a university or other academic institution, the policy summarized here "Many scientists, researchers, philosophers and other scholars (collectively referred to as "academics" for convenience) are notably influential in the world of ideas without their biographies being the subject of secondary sources" would easily apply. Please take into consideration the fact that considerable notability is established by translations of some of his books into various European languages.
Reviews of his books are hard to come by for various reasons, the fact that they were published before most publications carrying reviews became available online. There is also considerable boycotting of publications by evangelical Christians in England. In the 1970s, I worked for a large public library, whose acquisition policy includeda wide range of British publishers on a blanket-order basis. Evangelical publishing houses were excluded from this policy. Their output was likely also ignored by reviewing publications. Porter was notable among evangelicals, as the obituary by Duriez indicates.
So I hope you will reconsider. 2603:6010:4E42:500:D8A2:2925:629C:C58B ( talk) 20:30, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

is the following statements true? With support for ending Apartheid secured among white South Africans, the party opened up its membership to all racial groups and rebranded itself as no longer being an ethnic nationalist party only representing Afrikaners, but would henceforth be a civic nationalist and conservative party representing all South Africans. Thanks for reviewing my draft about Abdou Diop. Can you please tell me why it was rejected?

Her five books are are appreciated and recognised by Déotte and other philosophers. She is not a professor. Her career is similar to Benjamin's one.

Hello Greenman. If you are reviewing AfCs for biographies of professional footballers, please keep in mind that players must pass WP:NFOOTY at the very least, and if not, they must pass WP:GNG. You confirmed the AfC of Oussama Targhalline while he did not pass NFOOTY, which is why I brought this up. In the future, please make sure to check. Paul Vaurie ( talk) 22:08, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi there. I recently got a review from you on the article /info/en/?search=Draft:Rapita_Systems . I didn't understand what the review meant. May you please assist on how to make the article better. Thank you.
"This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies)." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Technical-writer-2020 ( talk • contribs) 08:06, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello, Greenman, thank you for having been kind enough to read my draft, but unfortunately given that it was not in the standard required by wikipedia, you refused it. Now I tried again to put it in required standard, I hope :). can you please take a look at it and tell me if it's ok or something still needs to be changed.
