Thankyou for your response, which was the only one that I received. My talk page has now been blocked, so I am totally unable to do anything from my account. Personally, I would like to see the evidence from this checkuser, and how it does tie me in with Zippygup - I'm mystified as to how that could have happened. Is there anywhere that I can request results of Checkuser's without being ignored by all the admins. Thankyou once again 86.145.144.99 ( talk) 14:05, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were an innovation from the German Wikipedia so the German pluralization kind of carried over. I'm used to hearing and using the suffix in Yiddish words and phrases, so I've never really thought of Anglicising it. I wouldn't want your head to explode though, so I'll try to conform to English pluralization in the future. Cheers! — Elipongo ( Talk contribs) 17:05, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

No need to apologize, I figured you had made that error when you blanked the page. In the future if you want to have a page deleted that you created by mistake, you need only place {{ db-author}} at the top of it rather than blanking it. I'm also going to fix that barnstar on your talk page that's bled over into the message I posted to you. Cheers! — Elipongo ( Talk contribs) 00:15, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Well hello and thank you for your note.
I think you may have made an error, Acorcoran ( talk · contribs) has never been blocked from editing, check the block log for yourself. Besides that, there's no way I could have blocked you since I am not an admin. I did leave a warning on Acorcoran's talk page for blanking the talk page of Aitias since it's not right to delete his and everyone else's messages on that page just because you were having an argument with him.
All of us who volunteer for Wikipedia are trying to create a comprehensive encyclopedia just so we can give it away for FREE to the world, quite a worthy goal I'm sure you would agree. Arguments and disruption are counterproductive to that goal, so if you have any issues you'd like to have addressed, please leave a note explaining what they are and we can discuss them and come to an amicable agreement.
Thanks again for your time and patience. Have a good week. — Elipongo ( Talk contribs) 15:59, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Todd Bachman

At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008 Olympics attack on American nationals, you appear unaware of who the murder victim was. He was the CEO of a corporation that the public recognizes. I'm not in their market at all, but I know what their ubiquitous purple trucks and their logo look like, because everybody does. Michael Hardy ( talk) 06:40, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your note. I am well aware of who he is. He and several of his cousins run what continues to be a family owned floral and landscaping business consisting of twenty-nine stores in the Twin cities and St. Cloud area. He's also on the board of several floral and gardening associations. While the business itself may be notable (if enough independent citations can be found), Todd Bachman is not- other than for this one event and whom he's related to. As to the event of the murder itself, I have already expressed my opinion that as long as this remains an isolated incident it should be covered by mention in related articles and with the existing Wikinews story. An independent encyclopedia article, however, seems inappropriate to me at this time because I don't see how it's going to have anything in it that the Wikinews article doesn't already have. If this develops into something more than a possible botched robbery or some sort of political statement, I may change my mind, but not for the present. Thanks again for writing. — Elipongo ( Talk contribs) 08:49, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
