I have some feeling that I may be too strict on some of these GA nominations, especially on the smaller things which would get hammered at over at WP:FAC.
Here's what I have been doing when reviewing GAs. Generally, I sit down with a paper copy of the article, go through it and make any corrections if needed. I'll normally make minor corrections as far as citations, ref tags, and other syntax/MoS stuff for the nominee. Hello Bibliomaniac15,
I contact you because you're the first admin on this list whose signature I recognize from the refdesks. Would you consider granting me rollback permissions? I'm not an active vandalism hunter, but of course I revert vandalism whenever I come across it. I spent some time recently tracking down the edits of an anon who tried to establish a fake Zimbabwe/Phoenicia connection, and I realize afterwards that some of my edit summaries do not make it clear which versions I reverted to. If I have understood the rollback feature correctly, that would have been avoided. Also, is Twinkle a prerequisite for using the Rollback feature, or are the two independent? Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am sending you this message since you are a member of the GA WikiProject. I would like to invite you to consider helping with the GA sweeps process. Sweeps helps to ensure that the oldest GAs still meet the criteria, and improve the quality of GAs overall. Unfortunately, last month only two articles were reviewed. This is definitely a low point after our peak at the beginning of the process when 163 articles were reviewed in September 2007. After nearly two years, the running total has just passed the 50% mark. In order to expediate the reviewing, several changes have been made to the process. A new worklist has been created, detailing which articles are left to review. All exempt and previously reviewed articles have already been removed from the list. Instead of reviewing by topic, you can consider picking and choosing whichever articles interest you.
We are always looking for new members to assist with the remaining articles, so if you are interested or know of anybody that can assist, please visit the GA sweeps page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. If only 14 editors achieve this feat starting now, we would be done with Sweeps! Of course, having more people reviewing less articles would be better for all involved, so please consider asking others to help out. Feel free to stop by and only review a few articles, something's better than nothing! Take a look at the list, and see what articles interest you. Let's work to complete Sweeps so that efforts can be fully focused on the backlog at GAN. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! Hey bud, I wanted to contact you as I have created the page for the Midsouth Emmy Awards. Seeing that the winners list is very long I created a subpage for the 22nd and 23rd annual winners. I directed it back to the main page. However, I now have someone who has put the subpage up for deletion. I have explained to them that this is merely a subpage and redirects to the main page but they continue with the efforts of deletion. I have looked through the deletion standards and this page being a subpage is a part of a bigger picture and certainly meets notability. Could you please look at this and tell me what you think? I would appreciate any help you may be able to give. Thanks... Canyouhearmenow 03:27, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

I have an account, GandalftheWise. When I first started Wikipedia, I had an account, Thenachoman. I started editing from that account, until I got tired of the dumb name I chose. Being new to Wikipedia, I had no clue that I could change my username, and that I couldn't make a new account. I then created a new account, WhiteHandofSaruman. It was eventually discovered that I had two accounts and WhiteHandofSaruman was blocked indefinitely, but Thenachoman wasn't. I eventually found out that one can change a username, and I did so; to GandalftheWise. I don't need the WhiteHandofSaruman account for anything, but I feel really guilty that there is another account registered with me, so I decided to tell someone in authority so that someone knows the reason for me having two accounts, and so that I won't get in trouble again. Please understand me, I was new to Wikipedia and I feel like someone should know the truth about this so that someone can back me up if this comes to question. Will you please help out? Thanks. TownDown has been blocked for edit-warring [4] [5] [6] and a pattern of aggressive disruptive editing. [7] [8]
1.- [2],[3],[4].- The user TownDown only reverted 2 times to Bosonic dressing, meanwhile Bosonic dressing reverted 3 times and Bosonic dressing has been blocked because 3RR reported before by TownDown here, but Deacon of Pndapetzim was requesting his/her unblock, after a few minutes Deacon of Pndapetzim unblocked to Bosonic dressing by himself.
2.- [5].- Deacon of Pndapetzim said to EyeSerene to block TownDown if resumes such behaviour of inappropriate templates and reverting users talk pages, but TownDown won't.

Hello,
The problem in pywikipedia with interwikis wrongly placed has been corrected in Subversion and I have upgraded to the new release.
I have made tests in other languages and the new version seems OK.
Can you please unblock User:Escarbot?

Hi! I was looking for an admin coach and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions? I know you suggested Useight and Rlevse a few months back, but Useight has a coachee now and Rlevse is kinda busy, being a crat and all. So could you think of anyone else who might be willing to coach me? Thanks! (The admin coaching project is inactive now. =( ) A v N 18:20, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello
I am here to ask you for Roll Back Privileges for my Wikipedia account. I spend a lot of time on Wikipedia working to counter the grand amount of vandalism posted here daily. I feel Roll Back rights would help me help Wikipedia further. I already use WP:TWINKLE everyday and am looking for more ways to help. An audit of my actions; then a yes or no would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!-- gordonrox24 ( talk) 23:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I just want to thank you for such an expedite rename. I guess that now, as my requests for rename on the other projects start taking effect, they will also show up in the new SUL, right? Thanks again, -- Darwinius ( talk) 07:16, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Is it possible to delete my old user page, talk page, and all sub pages so that some people will not know that I have changed usernames to prevent my identity from being compromised again? Hopefully, it is possible and hopefully you can help me do this (if you can, no pressure). Class I Laser (talk) 01:29, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much Bibliomanic15 for deleting all old links.
I have been fighting vandalism using User:Lupins anti-vandal fighting tool, and it just seems like it would be muc more convenient to use rollback. Is there anything I have to do to get it or do I just ask? Drew Smith What I've done 01:51, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Bibliomaniac15. I was wondering if you could change my username (again) to my original one. Here's my explanation. I had a user mention my name on Wikipedia and I requested a username change for my own safety, which you granted to me. Now, I figured out that the user who mention my name on Wikipedia was a friend, and he was only trying to attract my attention that he has made an account. Now, all of my friends think that my username/nickname is pointless and I am asking (persuading) you to change my username back to "Wireless Keyboard". Can you help me? Thanks! Class I Laser ZAP! Is there a warning template to give someone because they mentioned your name or part of your identity.
Also, what is your committed identity? I've seen some people have this really long code that said that it was the user's committed identity. Is it possible for me to have my own? Thanks! Class I Laser ZAP! Boom! 22:47, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you, but would you be ever so kind to grant my adoptee, WaveRunner85 (talk) rollback rights? He has been on Wikipedia for a while and has been reverting vandalism and giving disruptive IPs warnings with Twinkle. He also hopes to use Huggle once he gets granted Rollback Rights. WaveRunner85 has had experience fighting vandalism and I know that he can be trusted (as I know him personally). He will only use rollback to fight vandalism. Thanks! -- Wireless Keyboard Click! Thanks. Hello, I am new to wikipedia and I would very much appreciate any help you could give to me. I know three experienced wikipedians( WirelessKeyboard, WaveRunner85, and GandalftheWise) in person, but they are not online enough to be a very large help. I really want to fight vandalism, but I can't get Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool. Another problem is with my user page. I cannot figure out how to add a navbar, userboxes, and other user page things. I am adopted by GandfalftheWise and possibly WirelessKeyboard. Please offer your expert opinion and advice, I truthfully cannot figure out anything on wikipedia. I'd like to ask you what do you think about this case [3].
3.- [6].- This was a warning of Deacon of Pndapetzim to TownDown before to talk with EyeSerene.
What do you think?. -- Heraldicos ( talk) 03:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
