Hey....didn't come across you since long. Busy elsewhere? Btw, wanted your help on Gulzar. The current table (added by me long back) doesnt look good. Isnt it? Means i like when we reach the 70s & 80s & see the greenery there. But it isnt worth keeping such a long table for that. But the older format was just listing all films in various categories. You couldnt link that he wrote dialogues and also lyrics of it. Or how in Ijaazat except writing story and producing, he did everything. Hence i prefer this complex table. But the whole page gets fulls of this. 2/3rd of the page is only table now. Awards & Filmography. Hence want your opinion on what can be done. Also now that the "As Director" subsection in his Career is made, his Lyrical career has little weightage. Am planning to write that now. - Animeshkulkarni ( talk) 17:20, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi. That's great news. If the blog is willing to release photos, you should ask them under what license they want to release the photos into. You could check here for possible licenses and select a few. Then, e-mail them again, asking them explicitly under what license they want to release the photos, and give the licenses you chose. The blog owner will chose one of them; you could ask the blog owner to give something of an official declaration saying that they release the photos under so-and-so license (it makes verification easier). Then, upload the photos into Wikipedia (or Wikimedia if the files are free files).
Next comes the OTRS. The OTRS will confirm that the photos you upload actually have the proper copyright from the proper copyright owner. Send a separate e-mail to the OTRS e-mail address permissions-commons@wikimedia.org, giving a brief overview of what happened ("I came across this website, was attracted to photos, contacted blog owner...") and then give the URLs of the uploaded photos. After that (and most importantly) you should forward necessary e-mails between you and the blog owner, discussing the copyright of the photos.
Now you can forget about all this; the OTRS process typically takes a few weeks because there will be lots of editors sending mails to OTRS. At one point of time, you will get an e-mail from OTRS saying that they have checked the e-mails and are (hopefully) satisfied with the case. After that, OTRS will assign an OTRS ticket number to the photos you uploaded, and then those photos are officially and properly usable in Wikipedia, without any hassles. However, in case OTRS is able to find out that the photos you uploaded are actually not owned by the blog owner, then you will receive a rejection mail and the photo will be deleted. Hence, I suggest you check whether the photo matches with any other photo on the internet (using that camera icon you talked about); I faced a similar rejection situation when a blog owner lied about the ownership of the photos. It happens :) Best of luck, and if you have more queries, don't hesitate to ask me :D Cheers! ~*~ Ankit Bhatt~*~ 04:59, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Whilst I totally agree with you that WP:NFF applies to this article, you are reverting multiple editors and are at risk of being accused of edit warring if you continue. If the article is created again I would strongly suggest one of contacting a friendly admin, or taking the page to WP:RPP or WP:AfD.
At I (2013 film) I believe your speedy deletion nomination was validly contested by someone other than the creating editor and, if so, restoring it with this edit summary was probably unwise. In such circumstances, the above courses of action might also be best.

Here is a small piece of advice. Withdraw the request from WP:GOCE for the 59th NFA, as I assure you, it is not possible to appreciate the way they copy-edit and it is unlikely to bring any constructive changes to the article. If the list does not get featured in this nomination, then submit it to GOCE. It will benefit if some native English-speaker does copyedit. It may not need another PR, as I do not think any other major issues are there besides prose quality (although I have not read it thoroughly); the sources look good. For that possible copyvio for award citations, why don't you simply put the citations within quotation mark and attribute to the respective sources? That would mean that you are quoting the citations (which is ok, if you are properly attributing).-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 19:41, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Self-published sources
Policy shortcuts: WP:SPS
WP:SELFPUBLISH WP:BLOGS
Further information: Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Avoid self-published sources and Wikipedia:List of self-publishing companies
Anyone can create a personal web page or pay to have a book published, and then claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason, self-published media, such as books, patents, newsletters, personal websites, open wikis, personal or group blogs, Internet forum postings, and tweets, are largely not acceptable as sources. Self-published expert sources may be considered reliable when produced by an established expert on the topic of the article, whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications.[4] Take care when using such sources: if the information in question is really worth reporting, someone else will probably have done so.[6] Never use self-published sources as third-party sources about living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer.
Self-published or questionable sources as sources on themselves
Policy shortcuts: WP:ABOUTSELF
WP:SELFPUB WP:TWITTER WP:SOCIALMEDIA
Self-published and questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, usually in articles about themselves or their activities, without the self-published source requirement that they be published experts in the field, so long as:
1.the material is neither unduly self-serving nor an exceptional claim; 2.it does not involve claims about third parties; 3.it does not involve claims about events not directly related to the source; 4.there is no reasonable doubt as to its authenticity; 5.the article is not based primarily on such sources.
this article is clearly stating that the owner of the particular content can not be questioned for the authenticity this knowledge of yours are completely ungenuine.. as any personal data can not be relied on media who rely on this personal post and published post

Although I did not read the list of late, I think it is ok to submit it for FLC, given that GoCE copyediting has been done recently. So far as citations of the awards are concerned, I am of the opinion that those are not essential, that is, deleting them do not constitute lack of comprehensiveness. This list, from my PoV, merely enlists the recipients in a listy (tabular) form, alongwith appropriate (often explanatory) text in the lead and other sections. This was the major concern besides prose in the previous FLC. So, it's time for re-FLC.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 22:27, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Good job! Can you expand Satyavadi Raja Harishchandra and Lanka Dahan?♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:49, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi! What is the status on this? I see that it was copy edited by a GoCE member. Do you guys plan to renominate it for FLC soon?-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 12:31, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

On 24 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Geet Ramayan, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the 1955–56 Marathi radio programme Geet Ramayan describing the events from an Indian epic Ramayana (central characters pictured) has been translated to eight Indian languages, English, and also transliterated in Braille? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Geet Ramayan. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. How about making these categories?
I am finding last two names a bit awkward. Americans have Category:Films featuring a Best Actor Academy Award winning performance. I don't want to break categories to that extent. I am happy with on-screen and off-screen awards. But what can be a good name for that? We don't categorize Best Director in technical awards and nor is that an acting award. §§ Dharmadhyaksha§§ { T/ C} 09:50, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
On 30 October 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Sukumar Ray (film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray (pictured) made his last documentary in 1987 on his father, as a tribute to celebrate the centenary of his birth? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sukumar Ray (film). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Probably they are meaning that the citations need to be quoted verbatim. Not sure. Lets she what moonriddengirl says.
Bye the way, thanks for getting the Sukumar Ray documentary article in DYK on his birthday. Regards.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 15:16, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/National Film Award for Best Actress/archive1 — Vensatry (Ping me) 08:22, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
The term "currently held by" gives me an impression that the award is rotating, like Cricket World Cup which goes from one team to another and is thus "held by" someone at that given moment. NFAs are permanently give. How about "recent awardee"? §§ Dharmadhyaksha§§ { T/ C} 04:03, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
While working on Paresh Mokashi, did you come across any DYKy fact about her? You are welcome to add. §§ Dharmadhyaksha§§ { T/ C} 07:07, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Uhhooo uhhooo! Did you know ... that cricketer Kevin Pietersen (pictured) joined the Delhi Daredevils in 2012? On that lines, Deshpande acted in so and so film in year YYYY would also be passable. Most of the times, reviewers don't fail DYK noms for its un-hooky-ness but for other minor reasons like ce and 5 fold expansion. §§ Dharmadhyaksha§§ { T/ C} 03:47, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
So Mokashi and Deshpande were both associated with the Indo-German group Grips-Theater. And when Mokashi went to direct his first film, Deshpande was cast in it, after her break for household reasons. If only original researches were allowed here..... §§ Dharmadhyaksha§§ { T/ C} 10:40, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
I myself removed the fan made posters of the film and uploaded official one that were released and sourced too. How can you do this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arjann ( talk • contribs) 19:52, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for asking me to do peer review of the article Geet Ramayan which is a very good article even otherwise. I will be glad to look into it after about a week as I am currently busy with finalising 17 articles of Provinces of Laosunder a single DYK hook, in association with User:Dr. Blofeld and User:Rosiestep, and a few new Hinduism articles with User:Redtigerxyz.-- Nvvchar. 07:28, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Great going on Swayamvaram! There may be some persisting anomalies on the style of author names, but that is not a requirement for GA.-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 16:20, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello sir, I observed your contribution on all your all articles and now, I'm your fan. Well, I am new to wikipedia and had contibuted little bit to this large and special land of articles. I want your help regarding FLC of Priyanka Chopra list of Awards and Nominations. Could you please help me regarding the list and even its review would be a great help. Thank You. Hello. I have replaced the external links which you removed from this page. The song was officially released through YouTube. SO I don't think there is a copyright problem in giving the YouTube links of the song. Moreover, I have seen official many Wikipedia pages which list youtube videos as External links. See these good articles: You Belong with Me, Fearless (Taylor Swift song) etc. Thanks. Rahmaniacs ( talk) 16:29, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
What do you think? I'm crazy or what? I just forgot to write the source. Here leaving my work I'm contributing to the articles, working hard and what does it take for you just to click the revert button and show me policies. My dedication to the page is never taken into account. And yes, there is no problem in maintaining that form of tracklist. Please. Stop it. I hate it when people like you remove what I did with so much efforts and just for one small mistake you revert edits.

I can not understand which film you are talking about? Can you give any 1 reference where the film has been mentioned! If you can find the full video in Youtube, you can check length there! It is sometimes very effective!-- Tito Dutta ( talk) 14:43, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
