Dear All, Rajnikant was born in Bangalore and acted in Kannada plays/dramas/stageshows before moving to Tamil Cinema. He knew only Kannada and Marathi(Mother tongue) and he learnt tamil after moving to chennai. He is no doubt belongs to Kannadigas as well tamil. Hope this clears question of kannada transliteration in the literature. Rajnikant may be the name given by tamil director but the person roots are from Karnataka hence transliteration in kannada will not impair the reputation of the person.
If you still think that transliteration is not required in other languages than remove tamil transliteration as he not only belongs to tamil cinemas but all south indian films other than tamil also.

Hi as i have already mentioned in my previous comment, Rajanikanth is from Bangalore-Karnataka and has his roots are here. His elder brother and other family member live in bangalore. He acted in Kannada plays before moving to Tamil cinema and was called Rajanikanth. Please dont challenge the authencity of the data as he lived half of his life in Bangalore.
His initial career had a lot of Kannada films to his credit. The yearwise Kannada film name added in wiki are removed without giving any reason. Hope you understand that the article should talk about rajanikanth in general and his contribution to cinema and not only tamil cinema. As wiki article is read by people all over the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Indian born ( talk • contribs) 18:41, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi. I appreciate your efforts with Keechaka Vadham, but unfortunately US copyright law does not permit us to modify what somebody else has written "with own sentences". This creates what is called a " derivative work", and it is just as illegal as copying directly. I have removed the portions of the plot that remain too closely paraphrased to the source. You are welcome to describe the film entirely in your own words, but you can't copy and change what they've written. Please see Wikipedia:Copy-paste. Thanks. -- Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:38, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

I would still say that if you were able to add a pic of the stadium it would be better. Anyway, I've added the image to the article. Hello. Why can't Behindwoods be used to quote budget and gross figures? As far as I know, there haven't been any fake lists created by the site. Also, the Chennai gross of many films is present in the site which is currently used in many articles. Should they also be removed or in other words, is it totally unreliable? Regards. Hi, once again regarding these Filmfare Awards. I don't know from when exactly but in 2003 already there have been nominations. I have added the video link of the 2003 ceremony to the article. I could find these two sources ( 1, 2) listing the Telugu nominees for the 53rd Filmfare ceremony (2005). I guess they started giving nomination lists in early 2000s. The whole focus is on the "main" Hindi Filmfare Awards, so there doesn't exist much material regarding the Southern section (as stated several times before). The nominations that were added in the Best Telugu Actor page seems to be true, at least partly. Johannes003 ( talk) 13:44, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Furthermore, you have to understand and appreciate that there is little available on Vikram's career pre-Sethu, as a result of the low-key releases of his previous films. Hi. Sorry about not informing you about the image. The main reason I replaced it is that the brightness of the image seems to have been altered by Indiafm. Also, it doesn't look good in the article along with the fact that it was taken at the premier event of Enthiran (Shankar looks as though he is half asleep or something). This one gives a clear description, is properly licensed and has not been modified in any way. I appreciate your efforts for uploading the image, but seriously I feel this is better. Hi. You had recently talked about locking the Vishwaroopam article completely for further info to be released. If you can, please do so as soon as possible, because there is continuous change of info, especially about the lead actress and within a day, nearly 10-15 vandals rise on the page. I am unable to check each and every one and in the end, just revert back everything (I have done that twice already). So, please take it to the admin board or an admin to install either protection or semi-pr (most of the vandals are from IP's). Hey - I see you have put the article up for deletion, and now there's little I can do to justify the film's prominence in Tamil cinema news between 1996 and 1999 - I thought you said you understood how hard it is to get news on Tamil films prior to 2000. I like to make the notes section of some filmography tables sortable because you can more easily see how many times someone has won a certain award or done a film in a certain language, etc... and check that everything is there that needs to be, with consistent spelling too. There is nothing specifically against it in the MOS. BollyJeff || talk 12:05, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I noticed that you edited Shruti's page. Well, I think, it's not true that she won the National Award, I'm quite sure about that, it must be some other Shruti. First of all, this Shruti wasn't born in 1983, she was born in 1986. Also she went to Abacus school ( http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/features/2010/02/10/5947/index.html) and not Vidya Mandir as mentioned in the link. And surely all news papers would have reported if Kamal Haasan's daughter had acted in Anjali and won the National Award. This article states that she made her singing debut at age 6 for Thevar Magan (which also proves her age!), for sure they would have also written that she acted in Anjali, if it was true. That Shruti that acted in Anjali is some other Shruti, dude, that's why it wasn't added in her page! Johannes003 ( talk) 14:05, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi I can agree with you that Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam had opened to mixed reviews, but I liked it. Also, I think it was well received overseas. But either way it was a commercial success grossing over 200 crores at the box office. Then why do you say it had mixed impact at the box office? Kailash29792 ( talk) 16:08, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your opinion on the article - Vikram. You have mentioned that the some sources are not reliable, would you care to point these out so they can be replaced. Furthermore, you have to understand and appreciate that there is little available on Vikram's career pre-Sethu, as a result of the low-key releases of his previous films. Its developing very well for a short article. Only the reference to Saamy nomination is pending. Can you find that? :) It will complete your work. AshLin ( talk) 04:14, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
On 23 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article List of awards and nominations received by Vikram, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Vikram is only the third actor to receive a National Film Award for Best Actor in the Tamil film industry? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/List of awards and nominations received by Vikram. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Thanks a lot and sorry about arguing with you earlier. :) Secret of success ( Talk) 15:35, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

On 29 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Prahalada (1939 film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Prahalada was remade 20 times in numerous languages, with most of the remakes box-office successes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Prahalada (1939 film). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Hi again, re. Karthi. I think, I'm done with this article, don't know what to add anymore. You may go through it and further correct/improve anything and then we can try for a GA nomination. It just badly needs an image for the infobox now, can you help out here? Thanks anyway for your support! Johannes003 ( talk) 16:07, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Hey - I see you have put the article up for deletion, and now there's little I can do to justify the film's prominence in Tamil cinema news between 1996 and 1999 - I thought you said you understood how hard it is to get news on Tamil films prior to 2000. I hope that a future Marudhanayagam article - arguably the most famous Tamil film project of all time - does not lead to a similar death. Happy Editing :) Universal Hero ( talk) 21:55, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
I was upset by your aggressive tone here: [1] and your inappropriate claim for me to do "edits that suits WP:MOS rather than your [my] personal wishes." No other reasons. Editor 2050 ( talk) 13:52, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi! How are you? I've expanded the Tiruchirappalli template and added some suburbs. But, I do not much abt places in Trichy so it would be better if you can create articles on those suburbs or expand existing ones.- The Enforcer Office of the secret service 18:13, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
I have just reverted three or four of your edits where you have completely chopped off the lower portion of pages. Perhaps you should check your software. -- WikHead ( talk) 09:28, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
Mr. File mover, can you move this file to File:Draupadi Vastrapaharanam.jpg :-)- The Enforcer Office of the secret service 12:20, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
