Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to 2016 in the United States . This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 ( talk) 08:22, 9 November 2016 (UTC) reply

Blocked

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, TrumpWin, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{ unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{ unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Hey, just giving you a head's up and a bit of explanation about stuff:

Be careful about spinning off a lot of information from Trump's article, as there might not be enough material or sourcing to justify it at this point in time as a WP:CONTENTFORK. There might be in the future (I'd be surprised if there wasn't) but it might just be a teensy bit too soon. It's usually better to create these in your userspace at places like User:TrumpWin/(article title), then propose spinning out the article on the talk page for Trump. In the case of the article about 2016 in American politics, it looks like this is somewhat redundant to two pages, 2016 in the United States and the 2016 Presidential elections article. I've redirected it to the former.

Also, you might want to be careful about your username, as it might be considered somewhat promotional or at least give off the impression of a bias. It doesn't overtly violate any guidelines so I'm not going to make you change it or anything, but if you keep it you may get a bit more of the hairy eyeball than you would if you had something a bit more neutral. The article List of federal judges appointed by Donald Trump has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Too early for this, it does not need to be created in article space until President Trump is inaugurated and sends his first judicial nomination to Congress. In fact, I intended and still intend to create a draft space article on this, but this should be deleted and no main space article should exist until the first nominee goes to the Senate.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of federal judges appointed by Donald Trump requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -- Cameron11598 (Talk) 06:34, 10 November 2016 (UTC) reply
