Hello there! Happy to be writing this newsletter once more. This month:
Some good news: the Wikimedia Foundation has renewed WikiProject X. This means we can continue focusing on making WikiProjects better.
During our first round of work, we created a prototype WikiProject based on two ideas: (1) WikiProjects should clearly present things for people to do, and (2) The content of WikiProjects should be automated as much as possible. We launched pilots, and for the most part it works. But this approach will not work for the long term. While it makes certain aspects of running a WikiProject easier, it makes the maintenance aspects harder.
We are working on a major overhaul that will address these issues. New features will include:
The end goal is a collaboration tool that can be used by WikiProjects but also by any edit-a-thon or group of people that want to coordinate on improving articles. Though implemented as an extension, the underlying content will be wikitext, meaning that you can continue to use categories, templates, and other features as you normally would.
This will take a lot of work, and we are just getting started. What would you like to see? I invite you to discuss on our talk page.
Until next time,
Hello, Tom Morris.

Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly; your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom ( talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot ( talk) 13:35, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

The article describes a term used in critical circles, usually linked to marxist thinking, but not exclusively. It is already quoted in the first paragraph that it comes from a critical perspective, not widely used still by the general population, although increasingly used in Spain, specially in LGBTI movements. Even if it is linked to pink money, it does not refer to the same thing (the same happens with purchasing power, isn't the same as capitalism), as it links not only western capitalist economy with LGBT issues, but also with sociology.
Although I also consider YouTube references are usually not the best ones, three of them are part of an academic conference about Pink Capitalism given by spanish LGBTI activists and academic researchers, and the other one is a news item from the Spanish Television, so in this case I think they may be appropriate. In any case, these references are usually together with other ones that complete the paragraphs. I can check them in case they are alone to supplement the references with another article or book chapter.
About merging the article with a wider one about LGBTI economy, I don't think it would fit. The point is that Pink capitalism is used to refer to the processes written in the article. However, another article called LGBTI economy or LGBTI capitalism would be very interesting, incorporating other points of view, and maybe including a subpart with an abstract about pink capitalism.
Finally, just another thing. The article is not an original research. It all come from the quoted sources, intralinks and external links. It is true that is a translation from Spanish and perhaps it is difficult for English speakers to access that information. Also, there are some wikipages in Spanish that may contain some information that is not possible to link in English as those pages do not exist.
