Changing the logo to the updated one. Yagasashi ( talk) 04:56, 29 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Not done: New logo is already added to the article, just not in the Infobox yet as the new logo only comes in effect from fall of 2023. Paper9oll ( 🔔📝) 16:43, 29 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Logo in infobox

Currently, the 2023 logo is used in the infobox. However, the 2014 logo is still in use [1] and not due to be replaced by the 2023 logo until this fall (and even later outside of North America) [2]. I think the article should use the logo that is actually being used, since that reflects the product better. The article makes it seem like the logo has already changed, especially with the "used from 2008 to 2023" caption below the 2014 logo, when that's not the case. Thoughts? (I would just go revert it myself, but my account isn't autoconfirmed yet) C. A. Struck ( talk) 05:58, 12 June 2023 (UTC) reply

Update: Amusingly, making this comment gave my account enough edits to be autoconfirmed. Seeing as there have been no replies, this doesn't seem to be a contentious issue, so I've gone ahead and made the changes I've described. C. A. Struck ( talk) 04:25, 14 June 2023 (UTC) reply

Was wondering if this could be used as the Pepsi can featured in the infobox until the new one is uploaded, the logo is almost the same as the new logo just different letting of the Pepsi text. If not it's okay, just wanted to get a general consensus of everyone's thoughts before just putting it there.

Thanks

Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink with a cola flavor, manufactured by PepsiCo. It was originally created and developed in 1893 by Caleb Bradham in the United States, and became known as Pepsi-Cola in 1898, before shortening to Pepsi in 1961. As of 2023, Pepsi is the second most valuable soft drink brand worldwide behind Coca-Cola; the two share a long-standing rivalry in what has been called the " cola wars".
