Sorry to bother you, but how much is the toll? The Interior (Talk) 04:31, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm worried I didn't do that right. I thought the goal was to move Trinidad and Tobago's Newsday to Trinidad and Tobago Newsday.-- SPhilbrick (Talk) 11:57, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
On 20 March 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Glacier Media, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Glacier Media, which owns the daily newspaper in Victoria, British Columbia, was originally a bottled water company? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Glacier Media. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Willie,
Hi. Sorry to be slow getting back to you, and not sure this is the correct way to respond to your questions regarding the two entries I changed with regard to the San Francisco Examiner, but the SF Weekly article you referred to was based on the same erroneous article that our own paper used to write its story about the Examiner's sale. As far as having additional information, I am afraid that I do not. Above my pay grade ...

Hi Willie. Just a heads up. I have access to some local history books (I'm from the Kirksville area) and other resources, so in the next few days I'll try to flesh out the Kirksville Daily Express Wiki you created today with info on its founding, publishers over the years (it was owned for a century or so by one extended family) etc.. It had long been on my mental "to do" list but just never had gotten around to creating an article for it, so thanks! I'll also see what I can scare up on the Macon Chronicle-Herald too. Have a great Wiki kinda day! Sector001 ( talk) 05:04, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

We would have to pick a different color for a team winning a World Series in their first year in a domed stadium. The only reason why I put a color for World Series won by team in first year is because it has been noted in the other articles. – SNIyer12, (talk), 16:01, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi. When you recently edited Wrapports, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Glenview, Illinois ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You're correct on the B County category — we do not place an article in both Category A and Category B if one of the two be the parent (or grandparent, etc.) of the other. Just imagine how full some of our upper-level geographic categories, such as Category:United States, would be otherwise. I can't find a good reasoning summary here, but Commons:COM:OVERCAT (which has the same basis in practice and policy) is a very good explanation of why the newspaper shouldn't be in both Category:Columbus and Category:Bartholomew County.
As for the media in Indianapolis — Columbus is not an Indianapolis suburb or exurb, but the principal city of a different metropolitan area. This category also wouldn't be appropriate for media originating in Carmel, Danville, or Greenwood, since they're separate municipalities; this isn't "Media in the Indianapolis television market" or "Media in the Indianapolis metropolitan area". A tag has been placed on User:Toll Booth Willie/Q requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
