Speedy deletion nomination of Cole Wilson And His Tumbleweeds

Hello Thomas Fairwea16,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Cole Wilson And His Tumbleweeds for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

New articles

Kia ora, if I may make a suggestion – it would be much better if you created articles in your sandbox (i.e. here and once they are in decent shape, you can move them into mainspace. The reason I'm saying this because something like this ( revision 1121188633) should not be in mainspace; not even for a few seconds. Less tolerant editors would move this to draft space immediately, from where you have to go through a formal approval process.

Thanks!

Deletion discussion about The Otago Rambler

Hello, Thomas Fairwea16, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Paul W, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, The Otago Rambler, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Otago Rambler (2nd nomination).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Paul W}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hey Thomas. I found this source, which seems to say that James Sinclair was involved in the founding of Blenheim, New Zealand. I haven't been able to find where that record gets this information, and if we can find reliable, secondary sources it may be possible to add a mention to the page on Blenheim. I doubt there's enough information available to write an actual article, though. Vermont ( 🐿️🏳️‍🌈) 03:52, 31 July 2022 (UTC) reply

Say if you need a hand with that or want any further explanation; here's good. Schwede 66 00:36, 11 November 2022 (UTC) reply

I have thus moved it to draft space. You can improve it there, if you wish. Once it’s not been worked on for six months, it will be deleted. Schwede 66 19:58, 11 November 2022 (UTC) reply
