Sending sensitive information (PGP)

Keep in mind that private or encrypted messages are often unnecessary, if a message has no sensitive information it should probably be posted, unencrypted, on my talk page. The few cases I can think of where a private message to me may be required or preferred are all related to ThePhantomBot and its detection algorithms.

Sensitive information can be sent to me by using OpenPGP encryption. Users who are not experienced with PGP can use https://keybase.io/encrypt#phantomtech to encrypt a message to me. The site will give you the encrypted version of the text, you will still have to send it using a method described here. I recommend that users who are experienced with PGP use the public key below instead of the linked site and request, though do not require, that they include a fingerprint to reply to. Once you have an encrypted message you can email it to me or send it to me on IRC where I use the cloak wikipedia/PhantomTech. Do not post the message on a Wikipedia page and do not accompany it with any related unencrypted information, including in email subjects.
