I'm thinking about articles that I would like to contribute to or start in WP. As I come up with some I will list them here. Once I start work on them, I will probably put notice of that on my User page as well. Taoboy49 ( talk) 18:43, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey, you draft is starting to look good. If you are interested in moving it into the mainspace so that other people can start giving you feedback and support, here are the instructions: Open the page, go to the little downward facing arrow next to the search bar and put you mouse over it, click on move, fill in the various text boxes, and click "Move page"! Pretty simple? Once it's there I will ask WP:GLAM/SI to give us some feedback (I already gave you a little at User talk:Taoboy49/Ernest Spybuck), Sadads ( talk) 16:11, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
on the 1921 monograph. i believe that it's government produced publications are public domain, (not owned, for example library of congress) however, it's life of artist + 70 years, or books published before January 1, 1923. see Wikipedia:Public domain; the upload into Wikimedia Commons is a separate process that i could help you with, there are some wizards there as well. Commons Upload here's the library of congress record of the monograph [1]; online version at loc [2] -- Accotink2 talk 23:15, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
i started the article Frank Day (artist), it's still a little stubby. also User:Uyvsdi improved it greatly, maybe y'all can tag team. Accotink2 talk 16:07, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
On 10 September 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Ernest Spybuck, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Smithsonian Institution for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Also, if you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. - Mabeenot ( talk) 23:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
