My best suggestion is to contact the Virgin Islands Public Library system; the archives online all seem to be microfilm, which isn't veryhelpful, but librarians usually can at least point you to things.

Following closely behind Rosie, I think with your experience of the history of women activists, you might be interested in this one. Maybe you can turn up some other sources. I'm a bit mystified as to whether she is still alive. I see she was still around in 2010 and might have been born as late as 1914.
