Hi, since your name's down on this project, I'm just writing to let you know that there's a discussion going on at the moment on how to format events – and in particular, events that go on for multiple days – on year pages. Your input would be appreciated. — Smjg ( talk) 18:23, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I've reverted your redirects for Elk because (i) there should be consensus to change the name of an article with a long history (such as this WP:FA); (ii) articles should not be moved by copy/pasting, see WP:MOVE. Cheers. Materialscientist ( talk) 10:06, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

The article Crotophagidae has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah ( talk) 19:36, 16 April 2012 (UTC) |
A mid-importance article supported by WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers that was reviewed by Version 1.0 Editorial Team and selected for Version 0.7 and subsequent release versions. The article has come a long way from a fan boy mish mash to a fair enough GA. Now is the time to take it to the next level. Currently it's going through another peer review. Please, lend a hand. Hi Sophie means wisdom. Thank you for contributing to wiki. I noticed you removed the "Food Safety Laws in Other Countries" section on the FSMA article page. Adding that section indicates that other countries are not bound by the US law; I don't think it should be removed. Thank you. Bravura1 ( talk) 21:31, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I transferred File:Tiberio Fiorelli.jpg, which you originally uploaded, to Commons:File:Tiberio Fiorelli.jpg. I am guessing you probably found this image on the internet somewhere, but I did not see a url for where you obtained it. Is there any chance you can provide that information? Or perhaps you know the book in which it was originally published. Thanks for help. -- Robert.Allen ( talk) 09:08, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi. When you recently edited Dartington, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Falmouth ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
