Heyo, I didn't want to start an edit war, I was just wondering why your using |ð| in the pronunciation for Andhra Pradesh when Telugu doesn't use that sound. Khronicle I ( talk) 19:36, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
'd'which reads as the d in dye, cad, ladder. Clearly that is not how Andhra is pronounced, the sound is more akin to the
'ध'in Hindi, the closest equivalent I could find in {{ IPAc-en}} was
'ð'. While it isn't perfect I think it works better than the previous pronunciation.
'ध'is /d̪ʱ/ which is approximated as /d/ in English as /d̪ʱ/ is a plosive like /d/ and not a fricative like /ð/ [1], for example the th in that would be represented with /ð/, and that all sources that I can find on its pronunciation use /ˌæn.dɹə pɹəˈdɛʃ/ [2]. Khronicle I ( talk) 12:16, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Hey, so that we can settle things straight, I edited the article so that it fitted better with MOS:BOLDLEAD and MOS:PRON as well as the use of {{ IPAc-en}}. Also, the pronunciation of [ˈkadə] doesn't sound too English-y. If that's an actual valid pronunciation in another language, please specify that language.— oi yeah nah mate amazing JUSSO ... Dear Prolix, you're misreading the whole thing. Let me help you out, a logo with a Trademark/TM can be used only it hasn't issued a registeration by the competent copyright authority. Since, the logo has already granted registeration on April 2016, then we have to update the file with a new file without TM. As of now, no SVG file is available, that's why I'm putting up the PNG file. In case, somebody updates the SVG file in Wikimedia Commons... then surely we will use it. I understand the edit for the electronic voting machine was disruptive but the one for 'Government of India' just wanted to lay stress that the India is a 'federal republic' not a 'unitary one' which the page seemed to appear like. I mean, please do have a look at the page 'Federal Government of United States', you'll know what I mean. Furthermore, please stop reverting all of my previous edits since all of them were done with accurate citations, maybe have a look at them before deciding on reverting them? The central government budgetary allocation of the revised estimate was 13000 crore, which is 60% of the total government expenditure in the scheme. The rest 40% is paid by the states. That brings it to 22000 crore. Also, you reverted the change where I explained what ICDS was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Addie666 ( talk • contribs)

Regarding Karnataka, the images in the History section are excessive because there are far too many of them given the length of the section. On my screen they stretch down into Geography, and Geography's only image has been pushed into subdivisions. This is a MOS:IMAGELOCATION concern. There are sandwiching issues elsewhere in the article, but in History the number of images is actually disrupting the article formatting. CMD ( talk) 02:53, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

In the Karnataka Wikipedia article it is given the date of formation of Mysore state which was renamed as Karnataka in the year as I had edited, so can we use a Wikipedia article as a citation?
