Thanks for uploading Image:Heritageplaza.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. Hey. I am kinda exited about the prospect of having a featured list to OUR credit. Although I am philosophically opposed to bare lists on Wikipedia, I am about as flexible as can be. Dealing with concensus can do that do a person. I am certainly not the last word on any subject. The article is as much to your credit as it is to mine, so I certainly did not seriously mean to challenge your assessment. I'm waiting to see what happens more for the feedback than the status. BTW, happy New Year. Cheers. -- Evb-wiki ( talk) 04:28, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:TranquilityPark.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast ( talk) 10:59, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for participating in my RfA!
Although it failed 43/27/0, I'm happy because the outcome has been very helpful in many meaningful ways. Your support and remarks contributed so much to this. If you followed my RfA you know what happened. Most of the editors who posted opposing opinions have never edited with me. Some articles I edit deal with controversial topics and with respect to a very few of these, editors who didn't know much about me had some worries about confrontational editing and civility. Since I support their high standards I can easily (and will gladly) address this. The support and ecouragement to run again soon has been outstanding, thanks again. Cheers! You have been granted with the rollback permission on the basis of your recent effort on dealing with vandalism. The rollback is a revert tool which can lessens the strains that normal javascripts such as twinkle put on the Wikipedia servers. You will find that you will revert faster through the rollback than through the normal reversion tools such as javascripts and the undo feature, which means that you could save time especially when reverting very large articles such as the George W. Bush page. To use it, simply click the [rollback] (which should appear unbloded if you have twinkle installed) link on the lastest diff page which should appear beside the link to the user's contributions. The rollback link will also appear on the history page beside the edit summary of the lastest edit. For more information, you may refer to this page. Yamamoto Ichiro 会話 23:06, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

The Free Press does not consider the awards pure bull just feels it important to let folks know that they are purely opinion just as the other accolades you so readily mention. Thank you! Actually, the Houston list was going to be my next FL-project after List of tallest buildings in Pittsburgh (I started working on the Houston list awhile back, but gave up due to the huge amount of reldinked articles). Basically, there are a few editors at WP:FLC who insist that in order for a building list to meet the FL-criteria, every building must have an article. I have tried to change the FL criteria to exclude the requirement of creating articles for non-notable buildings, but then faced the problem of clearly determining what makes a skyscraper notable. As of now, it looks like the only way to get the article to featured status would be to create articles for all 29 redlinked buildings... But I would certainly be willing to work at it, and User:Alaskan assassin has been great for creating articles for List of tallest buildings in Charlotte, List of tallest buildings in Minneapolis and List of tallest buildings in Pittsburgh, so he/she may be willing to work at creating articles for list as well. What do you think? Cheers, Rai- me 22:21, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

I checked their website and they do state that the flight is an Aeromexico flight but there have been some inconsistencies on their website. Other sites (such as cheaptickets and http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/prego), and even their own timetable, state that the two flights to IAH are flown with an E90 jet, which only AM connect has, and not AM mainline. Also, these other travel websites do say that the flights are operated by AM connect, even though they have an AM flight number. I suppose that since AM connect is a subsidiary of AM, it's easy for confusion to arise since they might switch aircraft, and thus the company flying the route, on short notice.

The awards are indeed notable when a publication with a readership of 100,000 makes that distinction. The Free Press does not consider the awards pure bull just feels it important to let folks know that they are purely opinion just as the other accolades you so readily mention. I am sure you are a friend of hers and your editing on her behalf both violates any sense of jounalistic standards and wikipedia protocol. —Preceding

Just a head's up, if you haven't noticed, Ima Hogg has been worked on extensively lately by a cadre of editors and is about to head to FAC so it can be on the Main Page on April Fools Day.

I've heard of it and I'm stunned that there is an article.
As far cites of subdivisions and such, I know some articles we both have have references cities and such. History of HPD and HFD makes references of expansions, but I don't think it goes out that far. Additionally, to plot out future subdivisions would be challenging to do, unless we can use Houston's Key Map for locations.
If we go down this path, We'd have to break it down to sections of the city.. All I can say is, " Oy vey!-- Hourick ( talk) 22:35, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome to discuss this more with me on my talk page. Deus Caritas Est ( talk) 19:43, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
