Regarding your new article, I've moved it out of the mainspace over to the Draft: space. The Michigan task force of USRD has no stub articles, and hasn't had any stub articles in years. In fact, every one of Michigan's highway articles are rated as a GA or higher. Given other issues mentioned below, I'd advise that you not move this draft back as an article until it can merit at least C-Class status.
Honestly, I don't think we need to do state-detail pages on the old auto trails, not unless Dixie Highway itself gets to be too long that we need to spin content out and summarize it in the parent article. We have not reached that point. You should start by adding content to that article, and if it gets too long, then we can split stuff out.
Finally, you should acquaint yourself with the proper nomenclature for highways in other states. There is no such thing as "State Route 134" in Michigan. There is an M-134, however, that was not the not the number of that highway in the days when the Dixie Highway prominently existed. Factual errors like this do not help your case for creating a new article. Imzadi 1979 → 01:29, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Chenango Street requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Jab843 ( talk) 01:05, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
On 21 January 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that during his arrest, the suspect of the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting said in an interview, "No more baby parts"? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
