Hi Nehme1499, I'd like to take advantage again of your kindness and expertise to solve a dilemma that I stumbled upon. Wikipedia reports in the squad page and in the related article Mohammed Hassan (footballer, born 1905) as being part of the Egyptian squad taking part at the 1934 World Cup. However, as the note number two of Mohammed Hassan's article hints at, a variety of sources cite Mohammed Hassan Helmy (which we list as having been part only of the 1936 Olympic squad) as playing the game against Hungary. Some of these sources are Soccerway, 11v11 and FIFA. So, the question is: who was in the squad? Mohammed Hassan Moussa born 5 February 1905 or Mohammed Hassan Helmy born 13 February 1912? Bear in mind that no source mentions both of them, it's either one or the other. Can it be that FIFA and the other outlets have made confusion because of the similarities of the two names? I am saying this because this website lists the full name as Mohammed Hassan Helmy Moussa. I hope to have been clear. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. -- Tanonero (msg) 11:06, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Hi there. :-) It looks like a typo crept into your recent copy-and-paste changes: "Juvenus U23" instead of "Juventus U23". I fixed Idrissa Touré but others probably require fixing, too. Regards, Robby.is.on ( talk) 19:20, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
Hello Mr Nehme, Thank you a lot for contributing positively to DA page :) I noticed that you removed 'Syrian' and 'Levantine' as alternative names for 'Damascus Arabic'. I agree with removing 'Levantine' as it is not the name for the dialect; however, yes, I know that the 'Syrian [Arabic]' and 'Damascus Arabic' are not the same thing (as Syrian Arabic is a broader term that covers many dialects in Syria) but this is a very common name for this dialect in the Middle East and among western researchers and as such, I had added it with the addition that it is merely a loose usage. Hi Nehme, hope you've been doing well. I was going to try and translate the history section at the Italian page for Italy women's national football team into English as we do not even have a history section here. But perhaps you may be better suited to do it if you have time? Let me know. After I did the head to head records, I was planning to make a table of the top 10 appearances and scorers, but the FIGC site is a mess compared to what I see for the players on the Italian wiki for various reasons they cite. Hello, I recall you asking once at WT:FOOTY about FIFA's list of international matches. I too was disappointed to see it gone, though I just have had a realisation. FIFA have a 'static' version of their website prior to more recent redesigns (static.fifa.com). So if you use that version of the website, the international results are still there, for example here. Hello, and thanks for asking. I'm afraid that these days I don't understand much of the code either. In recent times such templates have been enhanced to work with Wikidata and to include a lot more error-checking than 10 years ago or whenever {{ Soccerway}} and the like were first created. You'd do better asking for help from someone who works with templates, such as Frietjes, or to post on WT:FOOTY where someone with technical competence might see it.
Don't know if you intend your template to be just for the External links section or to be usable as a citation as well. If the latter, you might want to base it on something like {{ NFT player}}, which outputs a cite-web formatted citation if the accessdate parameter is supplied, where the Soccerway one has just been fudged to add an accessdate on the end of external-link type formatting.
Sorry I can't be of more help. cheers, Struway2 ( talk) 15:16, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

By the way, I saw you asked for a "Help:IPA/Lebanese Arabic" page. Would it need to refer to external sources? Hello Nehme, well I think it's better to rewrite the article from the beginning since most of it have been written before 2012. However there is no problem if we kept the most up-to-date content. We should focus primarily on the introduction and history section. The infobox, statistics and current squad is easy and will not take that much time. We can use one of our's sandbox if you want. @ GRanemos1: I agree with you, it's a stupid guideline. I've tried for weeks to find a solution to add the logo to Lebanon national football team, talking to various editors. But nothing. So I understand your frustration. Until the volleyball departments create a specific logo for their clubs (like basketball and football have their own specific logos), we can't do anything about it. Nehme1499 ( talk) 21:39, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
@ GRanemos1: Ahaha man I'm trying to help as much as possible. The problem is that it's against Wikipedia guidelines to have the same logo for both the parent and child clubs. Also Croatia national football team, finalists in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, don't have a logo; we can't do anything about it. AEK has a specific logo for the football club, so it's ok. It also has a specific logo for the basketball club, so that's also ok. However, both volleyball departments have the same logo as the parent entity, so it's not ok. I personally disagree with the wikipedia guideline, but I can't do anything about it. Deleting the current image, and uploading a new one (as you are suggesting) will only work for a few days. Another editor will notice this and revert it back to how it is. Nehme1499 ( talk) 16:51, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

In order to justify yor actions, you recalled:
I know that you removed this section due to an edit war, but this cannot be considered as a reason for arbitral removal. Please review your argumentations for deleting the whole sections because, as for now, they are not relevant. At the moment you are holding the page in hostage of your deliberate decision. Hey, I was looking at 2019–20 Lebanese FA Cup and noticed there were matches missing. Trying to find what happened I found RSSSF saying the rounds were cancelled due to civil unrest. Do you think you can find a better and more explanatory source (maybe in Arabic?) and add a referenced explanation on the page? -- SuperJew ( talk) 13:29, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
The reason for that being that nobody has seemingly gotten round to requesting an WP:RM for the article to be moved to the subject's WP:COMMONNAME. Compare 7,190,000 results for "Arthur" juventus -Melo to 157,000 for "Arthur Melo" juventus. I'm sure similar variants will yield similar results. The statement you added to the article that the subject is "commonly known as Arthur Melo or simply Arthur" is demonstrably untrue; it should, in fact, be the other way around. Sorry, I stupidly scanned the list for Egypt rather than Lebanon and got it mixed up with the Syria match. Can't believe matches like that are approved by FIFA when they have such annoyingly strict rules elsewhere. Every country seems to have a few weird matches in their record (Scotland's is v the Hong Kong League in 2002, England seem to count their Rest of the World match in the 60s etc). And what is that Platini playing for Kuwait thing all about, what a lot of random nonsense, I look forward to seeing Ibrahimovic (or someone other star on the verge of retirement, take your pick) popping up for Lebanon in the next friendly. Scotland can have... Tiago Silva, why not, keep a PSG link going). Anyone allowed for the last 15 mins, and its an official cap. So bizarre. Crowsus ( talk) 01:52, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Nowhere on Juventus' wiki does it mention their champions league campaigns from 2018-20. Removing certain events like say mentioning Ronaldo's hat trick is one thing, but removing the entire event is unacceptable.
Their champions league campaigns are a part of their history and adding 1 line to mention what they did in Europe that year is necessary. I agree that going to much into detail is unnecessary, but mentioning for example (Juventus reached the champions league quarter finals and were knocked out by Ajax 3-2 on aggregate) is perfectly reasonable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mbuonastella ( talk • contribs) 00:06, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Unfortunately, official Serie B website is FUBAR at the moment. However both ESPN and La Gazzetta dello Sport both list Lora and Origlio under numbers 43 and 71 respectively. The last time Lora was on the matchday squad for Monza (Coppa Italia game on 18 August 2019 against Fiorentina) his number was 8, and for Origlio (15 December 2018 against AlbinoLeffe) number was 7. Origlio's number on loan at Rende was 6. Lora's number on loan at Ravenna was 32.
So, 43 and 71 are not some random numbers that both ESPN and La Gazzetta happened to assign the same way, or numbers that were carried over by mistake from old seasons data. Both La Gazzetta and ESPN received those new numbers from official sources, I presume. Never mind that they are themselves reliable sources.
Cheers!

Hey there, so I did some more looking into the Coritiba club from the Scanu article and I think the reason we never found a reference to "Itabaiana Coritiba" and it only said "Coritiba" is because it's not called Itabaiana, it's just the name of the town. Based on their Facebook page and their Twitter page their name is "Coritiba de Sergipe" or "Coritiba Foot Ball Club" just like the main club. I'm thinking of making a page move, but am not sure whether it should be moved to:
I'll probably do it through Requested Moves, but wanted to get your insight first before I do. RedPatchBoy ( talk) 14:45, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi! Your rationale for undoing my edit does not seem to correlate with the content of your own edit. Isn't "helping his nation to win a bronze medal in the latter tournament" puffery per se? "Instead of making unprovable proclamations about a subject's importance, use facts and attribution to demonstrate that importance." This is what I had tried to when I replaced this ambiguous clause with precision. By precision, I mean facts. "[S]coring the game-winner to clinch a third-place finish for his nation in the latter tournament" (in contrast) actually informs the reader of how Dybala contributed to Argentina's achievement. I welcome your thoughts and comments! Hurrygane ( talk) 18:09, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Cheers!

By the authority vested in me by myself it gives me great pleasure to present you with this special, very exclusive award created just for we few, we happy few, this band of brothers, who have shed sweat, tears, and probably blood, in order to be able to proudly claim "I too have taken an article to Featured status". Hello, Just to Clarify Mohammed Hammoud who plays for Shabab Al Sahel used to play for Ansar and not the information on the page. The club information on the page is for another Mohammad Hammoud.

Anasi is of Kenyan descent, [15] but I guess what will be your reply (because of the source origin), so OK, I will accept the removal of the Kenyan-related categories. Now, she does not belong to the "Category:Icelandic people of American descent" (Do you have sources of that?). Anasi's parents are John and Jane Anasi, [16] and her mother's maiden name is Ogari, [17] [18]. Both Anasi and Ogari surnames belong to the Kisii people in southwestern Kenya, Anasi example Ogari example so her parents are not (at least, originally) American, but Kenyan. Ogari is actually the same surname as people like Simon Ogari or Charles Barongo Ogari who feature in this WP.- MonFrontieres ( talk) 21:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
Please explain why you think the composer Luca Lombardi (composer) isn't the primary topic? If there are only 2 people, we don't need any disambiguation, just at a hatnote at the two articles that the other exists. If we had 3 or more people, we could have Luca Lombardi (disambiguation). Why make things needlessly complicated? Please consider reverting it all. -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 22:19, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Nehme1499. I could only check part of the goalscorers at the Korea Cup (President's Cup) in the South Korean newspapers of that time. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any foreign squads in there. I'm sorry to tell you that there are no imformation. -- Pinineeon ( talk) 03:50, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
Hey, I saw your page 2020–21 A.C. Monza season. I see that you're hard linking match reports to the results. If you are using a table instead of matchboxes, it is preferable to use ref cite tags for the reports (like you did in the attendance column), and that is to try and prevent WP:LINKROT. -- SuperJew ( talk) 00:51, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi. WP:NOTBROKEN would suggest "[[Striker (association football)|Striker]]" is preferable to "[[Forward (association football)|Striker]]". This is why I've reverted the change at Romuald Ntsitsigui. Kind regards, Robby.is.on ( talk) 10:38, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
Because I saw him playing in the past for the U17 national team of Romania and I knew then he's gonna become big. I even compared him then with Chiellini. He was running very well compared to all the other kids and also had great headers. I think it's unfair to compare him with Virgil. That phrase must be edited in my opinion, written in a different way. Source that he is born in Bucharest. https://www.puterea.ro/cine-este-radu-dragusin-pustiul-de-18-ani-care-a-debutat-pentru-juventus/
You deleted my addition to the notable people. Why? I referenced to the James S. Murphy Us Air Force bioagraphy. Denisjackowski ( talk) 20:41, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Yes. Football Association of Malaysia send Perak because the first team of Malaysia have 2 match against Arsenal in May 1975. The article follows the contents of Korea Football Association and RSSSF. It was hard to find the list of players, but Japanese team participated with youth players and a few senior players according to newspapers. -- Pinineeon ( talk) 04:23, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
