Are you ready for #12? And did you see Broadchurch episode 1 is already streaming on the BBC America site? What a weekend coming up! -- Drmargi ( talk) 01:37, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Eddie's been touring on the continent; I follow him on Twitter. I did see Cat's Meow; it was on an HBO back channel a week or so ago, and I watched a bit again. Not sure about the others. The Hobbit has wrapped, but who knows how that affects Andy Serkis, since he's a body actor in Sfx. Oh, I so remember that Touching Evil he did, along with "The Pale Horse", where he played a Harry Palmer type DS back when he was just coming up. I've got to lay my hands on that art series!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I won't ask which one. ;-) -- Drmargi ( talk) 16:57, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

HAAAAAPPPPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL!! -- Drmargi ( talk) 06:46, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
Witha bit under 20 hours to go I find myself wondering howw far they are going with the secrecy. In the age of twitter there will undoubtedly be fans outside the studio checking out who is going in the building. Will they sneak them in under raincoat. Or maybe they will have several people entering that way to throw us off. Then I had a brainstorm that, if they really wanted to ratchet up the mystery/secrecy/anxiety they could do the reveal To Tell the Truth style. They could have Rhys, Peter, Bill Nighy and two or three others sitting around and then the ost says "Will the next Doctor please stand up" heehee. MarnetteD | Talk 22:25, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Stunner! I knew Hartnell was younger than he appeared, but I didn't realize he was still in his 50s! So tied for oldest. Good on Moffat. I read a few comments on various articles, and they're largely very supportive. He's like Martin Sheen or EJ Olmos is over here: an institution you know will always be phenomenal. -- Drmargi ( talk) 21:32, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
This exchange may make you smile. Any addition would be welcomed. Cheers! –

The anonymous editor you (correctly) reverted used the new Visual Editor so they never would have seen the hidden text cautioning them against making that change. Always assume good faith, even when other people make mistakes. - Dravecky ( talk) 22:48, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
Greetings,
I see that you are a very busy editor, but would you consider contributing to the deletion discussion regarding the article on Mokenge P. Malafa? I completely understand if you do not have the time. I am simply attempting to canvas for more involvement based on the rules in WP: Canvasing, and I noticed that you've made edits on some topics related to the subject of this one.
Thank you for considering, 72.184.149.224 ( talk) 00:26, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi Marnette! Sorry, I must have hit the wrong button to edit Iqbal Theba after your edit and it registered as a revert/undo of your edit - "Stalwart111 Undid revision 576798084 by MarnetteD" - but you'll see from the edit that all I did was change "her" to "his" (Theba is a man). The rest of your edit was perfectly fine! Sorry about that! Stalwart 111 05:13, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Good morning Michael,
I am recommending
this new series, The Wrong Mans... it is great fun and I hope
Hulu.com is available in your territory.
The fourth episode was shown last night at nine and I am still chuckling to myself. All the best!

Had a question about the Jackalope page/lure. the sentences "It is said that a jackalope may be caught by putting a flask of whiskey out at night. The jackalope will drink its fill of whiskey and its intoxication will make it easier to hunt" are not cited and have no references. Is there any reason why this can't be taken out due to a lack of evidence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wilbooks1311 ( talk • contribs) 14:10, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

The edits originally added in November 2010 were completely ripped from a website, so I had to restore the most recent copyright-free revision I could find. Unfortunately, in situations like this, that means any good edits made in the meantime get caught in the crossfire, and there's no easy way to separate the two. I try not to do that unless I have to, and the copyright issues were big enough in Night of the Seagulls that I had no choice. Of course, the deleted revisions are not a shot on anyone that made edits there in 2011/12/13. Wizardman 14:22, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
I closed the discussion for Ymovies name, but you may want to make a bot request to do something about all the non-templated uses of the same URL. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 02:55, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
Aloha! I can't recall whether you watch Castle or not, but Monday's episode features a character who believes he's a time traveler. Castle plays with sci-fi related genres a couple times each season, and this should be fertile ground for a possible Doctor Who references. Might be worth a glance. Aside from that, how be ye? -- Drmargi ( talk) 05:09, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
I think I understood the earlier one was a fan video, but I might be wrong. The new one is fabulous -- could you find #8? Looking forward to a report on the new DVD and found episodes. Enjoy your Sunday. I have to do some grading. -- Drmargi ( talk) 06:30, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
