Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Ron "NEFF-U" Feemstar. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Come on, man. Stop creating the same article on multiple titles. Please read this moan. -- RHaworth ( Talk | contribs) 18:15, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Did you actually read the above? Why on earth did you create "Just A Friend"? A) we already had "Just a Friend" and b) we do not create titles with " (quote marks) around them anyway. -- RHaworth ( Talk | contribs) 19:14, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Now you have taken to pure vandalism. Just a Friend was about a totally different song, but you throw away the content and replace it with your own pet subject. Try again, creating Just a Friend (Mario song) for goodness sake. -- RHaworth ( Talk | contribs) 19:29, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
You could try converting Just a Friend into a disambiguation page or just put "For the Mario song, see Just a Friend (Mario song)" at the top. Do not try and make the page serve two completely different purposes. -- RHaworth ( Talk | contribs) 19:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Future Album, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{
hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rocksanddirt ( talk) 00:09, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Future Album requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

A tag has been placed on Knightwritaz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

A tag has been placed on Drama Family Entertainment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bagheera ( talk) 23:05, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Mario (singer)Mario.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Image:Mario.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see

An editor has nominated Mario's Fourth Studio album, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also " What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mario's Fourth Studio album and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 20:59, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Mario Bom.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Σ xplicit 03:14, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Awards and nominations, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion (
{{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the
the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact
one of these administrators to request that the administrator
userfy the page or email a copy to you.

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File:Bruno-Mars-Treasure.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. It's ok to not understand, and if you act honestly, people may even help you, but licensing is not a game where you plonk random tags on until one might "stick". Licensing is taken seriously here. Begoon talk 12:16, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello Mario,
This message is to let you know that since Petergriffin9901 couldn't do the review for your GA nomination, I took over and reviewed the article here. Sorry to say that it failed this time. After you've spent some time addressing the prose/reference points I brought up, give this some time to settle so it's stable before renominating. An unstable article is an automatic fail for GAN. I'd spend at minimum a week or two working on this article before renominating for GA. Better luck next time.

I have noticed you have reverted my edits on Bruno Mars. It is clear that you are not vandalizing the page, but they are becoming disruptive. The instrument section is meant to show the musicians primary instruments, not every instrument they have ever played. See /info/en/?search=Template:Infobox_musical_artist. Many multi-instrumentalists, like John Paul Jones, Brian Jones, Prince, Sting, and Paul McCartney have their primary instruments included. Before I revert your edits, I would like to know why you think the exhaustive list of instruments should be included. Thank you very much for your time. Dobbyelf62 ( talk) 21:43, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi! Why did you undo my edit on " Treasure"? The song reached number 22 in Italy during the week 29 of 2013, and I provided the official website of FIMI as a source. Unluckily it is not possible to include a direct link to the chart, because the link would be http://fimi.it/classifiche#{"id":1614,"s":"3"}, but since it contains quote, it would break the page (and encoding it with %22 doesn't work, as I explained here). Still, this is an official source, and I don't understand why it should be removed. -- Stee888 ( talk) 20:53, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for your work on this list. Looks like you are converting the list into a table much like the featured lists for songs recorded by some other artists, which is great! To MarioSoulTruthFan, please look and read the source carefully ( http://www.eugeneweekly.com/20140807/music/mission-mars)/ Eugene Weekly
Not only has he released two chart-topping albums — 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans and 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox — sold over 100 million copies of his singles and albums.
And please look at his certification sales in the List of best-selling music artists, it has been reach 76.8 million and the 100m-claim is more reliable than 108 million
I put that source to encourage another reliable media to follow.. Please undo again, I need your consideration. Thanks Politsi ( talk) 15:44, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
We should change that also, actually Mars will be put on the 100m-list at the List of best-selling music artists when Mars's certification reach 78 million but we need a source from a broadsheet daily newspaper which is more reliable but it doesn't mean Eugene Weekly is not reliable, it is still reliable but we have to encourage another source to count the same (100m-sales) calculation of Mars's claim sales. Politsi ( talk) 16:35, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
All of his features and all of combination from singles, albums, video, digital download of Mars. an Expert editor / Harout72 handle on update calculation. Politsi ( talk) 17:25, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
No... Please don't do that, we must avoid inflated sales figure for Mars. The source from Eugene Weekly is quite enough at this moment and don't add any 80 million claim source again because it is no longer reliable. 100m-records is the best calculation of Mars's claim sales. Politsi ( talk) 12:42, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
In the List of best-selling music artists Mars still placed on the 80 million claim figure since we have to wait for another more reliable source better than Eugene Weekly, please look at the talk discussion between me and Harout72, when Mars certification pass the 80 million mark and still no other reliable source, we will put him at the 100m-list with source from Eugene. Let's wait and don't change Mars's 100m-claim in his Bio. Politsi ( talk) 13:03, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Hello MarioSoulTruthFan: The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Talking to the Moon (song) has been completed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
You will notice that I archived one of the article’s citations (#1). I suggest that you archive the rest of the URLs as time allows. This ensures that the article's references are available "forever" and that it doesn’t develop “dead links” over time. The site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the URL in the citation and paste it in the box on the archive.org site and click save. This creates a copy of the original page and provides you with a new URL to add to the original citation. If you look at the URL I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new URL to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl= http etc|archivedate=13 February 2015}}. Not all websites allow archiving - CBS TV news and the NY Times are two I've come across, so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use.

I don't think your quick fail of I Will Possess Your Heart was appropriate. Most of the issues you mentioned are easily fixable textual issues, and a handful are MOS issues that are explicitly not part of the GA criteria. I'm willing to improve the article according to your guidance. You haven't brought up any issues that can't be fixed in an hour or two; in this situation you should await revision rather than quick-failing the article. Hi MarioSoulTruthFan. I have recently removed three images used in the music video section of the Unorthodox Jukebox first three singles. All of them fail WP:NFCC#8 as in they can be easily replaced by free images from commons and removal is not detrimental to reader's understanding of the article. We are not supposed to add non-free images for decorative purposes. — IB [ Poke ] 11:24, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
@ IndianBio: you are right. Thanks for noticing the issue and addressing it.
Thanks for uploading File:Bruno Mars - Treasure video.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited It Will Rain, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spin. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Why did you remove all the publishers from 24K Magic? Is there reasoning behind it, because it isn't making sense. livelikemusic talk! 15:23, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi there! My mean is not to bother you, but—if you have time—would it be possible to review my GA nominations of short articles " Heaven" and Cliché (Hush Hush) (or at least one of these two)? The initial reviewers seem to be very busy or kinda semi-retired since there has been nothing going on with the reviews for weeks (even after pinging them). Your closure was too fast for an article that doesn't have any glaring issue with it. I wouldve definitely addressed your issues if given the 7 days. I hope that you would reconsider your decision and reopen the GA nom. I guarantee you it'll be fixed easily. So how is it called "announced to be the second single" ? He has already announced that he will release another song that's included in his pre-release album 3-4 days ago through the social platform and released the audio of the song this Friday. If it isn't called "the second single", what should it be called? Promotional single ? lysvincent ( Sthg wrong with my edit?Tell me!) 13:14, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that is it. It was not announced as the official second single. No radio adds, no video, nothing is just a promotional single. Most artists do it. It may become the second single sometime in the future, but its just too soon to tell. MarioSoulTruthFan ( talk) 14:03, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

GA = good article, right? I looked here WP:SONG and couldn't find anything about how the Personnel should be formatted but also that the project is based off the Album style guide which formats it "Name - function", not the opposite. So there's no guideline for it or is it elsewhere? -- Jennica✿ / talk 01:04, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Right. "There is no standard format for how these different types of groupings should be arranged". Nevertheless, I'would rather present it this way, since all personnel that recorded the song is one place. See S&M, which is an FA and presents wiki's best work.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{
hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.
The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude ( talk 01:10, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

For your contributions to Bruno Mars- and The Smeezingtons-related articles, I happily award you this Music Barnstar. Your contributions are quite helpful, and I'm glad to be working alongside someone like you. Keep up the good work! :) And remember those edit summaries, eh? :P Yves ( talk) 21:52, 21 January 2011 (UTC) |
A tag has been placed on Awards and nominations, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion (
{{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate).

Please refrain from inserting position(s) for the Dutch Top-40 as you have repeatedly done in
this and
this edits. Be informed that all positions for the Netherlands listed for David Guetta's singles, are for
Dutch Top 40, all of which are supported by
this source. The single "Little Bad Girl" has not yet entered the Dutch Top-40.--

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Grenade (song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page EP ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I hope you are able to expand the list. Do you intend to promote it to featured list status? Keep up the great work! --- Another Believer ( Talk) 16:24, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Your Opinion is More Important than You Think Barnstar | |
Thanks for your second opinion on Talk:Fall Out Boy/GA2. Getting second opinions on GA reviews is notoriously difficult, and I was amazed with how quickly you responded to my request. Not only were you incredibly helpful in giving advice on satisfying the NFCC, but you also helped reduce the file quality so it would satisfy the criteria. Anyway, here's a barnstar so you know just how important you were to the GA process and the article's promotion. Wugapodes [thɔk] [kantʃɻɪbz] 14:09, 16 June 2016 (UTC) |

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help.
However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 17:31, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
