This is far more serious than reverting a suspected sock puppet, this is reverting posts made by a confirmed, persistent and prolific sock puppet whose posts regarding myself and other editors have had to be oversighted and dealt with by Wikipedia beureautcrats on more than one occasion and has resulted in complaints filed with the state police in my home state. A WP:SSI isn't necessary, a post has already been made to WP:AN/I because the content the sock puppet posted on one of the talk pages consists of definitive prove of the account being a sock and it is being dealt with. This is precisely what I was advised to do the last time this editor showed up here and proceeded to post my personal information on his privately operated website - revert posts on sight and immediately post a notice atn WP:AN/I. Just a heads-up

Hey.  :) Just an FYI: for statements that are most likely true but don't have sources (re: Shinee's recent #1), it may be better just to add a {{fact}} to such a statement rather than removing it completely. Of course, if something is just rumoured or else completely false, you should remove it, but in cases like these, all it needs is a source, right?

If someone is going to add something to a article they have to prove what they add. I know about the {{fact}} tag already but it's up to them to prove the statement is true not another user. MS (Talk| Contributions) 18:43, 5 June 2009 (UTC) reply
(I totally forgot to sign my earlier statement. Sorry.) Granted, that's true, but for short statements that need sources, the fact tag would be just fine. That way, someone (like me) can go find a source. SKS ( talk) 18:51, 5 June 2009 (UTC) reply

What do you mean? No one ever said Billboard was never reliable. Reliability and nobility is two difference things. The Cherrytree Sessions has to chart in order for it to have its own article, if it hasn't charted then it should be merged into Lady Gaga's article or whatever article it would be best to merge into. And how is there a dispute? It's not like there is an argument or an edit war going on about it. MS (Talk| Contributions) 11:22, 8 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Alright, this is going to take a little time to work out the extent of the rangeblock. I'll have to ask a checkuser to see if there are any legit users within the range (and it may be larger than that). I don't want to block the entire Philippines, if that's what would happen, this casually.

This applies equally to File:Yui Sunflower.PNG. Stifle ( talk) 15:34, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply
Can you tell me how to nominate the articles for deletion on Commons? Tanks for the heads up. MS (Talk| Contributions) 15:38, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Again/Yui

Hi, MS. I like the work I generally see you doing on the various JPop articles. Let's discuss and get consensus on handling Again (Yui single) on the pertinent talk page before deleting/blanking/redirecting, okay? TJRC ( talk) 17:35, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply

It's nice that you want to achieve consensus about "Again" but WP:NSONGS aka WP:MUSIC is very clear. If the article fails it has to be redirected to the parent article. MS (Talk| Contributions) 17:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply
Yes, let's discuss whether those assumptions are correct. TJRC ( talk) 17:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BoA and Sean Garrett.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:BoA and Sean Garrett.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Σ xplicit 19:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Feeback

I'm a new user, and I just created pages for the bands Outrage and Ms. Adventures, and am going to do one for The Truth. These were albums I found at second hand stores, and am using the album inserts and lyric books to provide the information for the articles. I plan to scan and email these materials for verification, but I'd also like feedback and editing on my articles so they'll be up to Wikipedia standards. Thank you! Wikimaniac8317 ( talk) 23:04, 7 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I'll be glad to help you with the articles. But be careful when you are creating the articles because after you submit it to the main space they are no longer "your articles". See WP:OWN for further information. Cherrytree dispute

I do not see how it was needed, billboard is extremly reliable. Hey Boys and Girls (Welcome to the Show…) ° 06:13, 8 June 2009 (UTC) reply

No point. Sockpuppetry reverted the edit again. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:44, 8 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Merge discussion

Hi, I know you haven't been working on the record charts lists as much anymore, but could you comment at Talk:List of number-one Billboard Top Latin Albums of 1999? It could be influential on many record charting lists. Thanks, Dabomb87 ( talk) 03:32, 9 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Please moderate David Archuleta's wikipage.

A persistent hater from this IP; 124.104.18.247 is persistenly pasting false facts in David Archuleta's "Music Influence" page biased against Regine Velasquez. I kept on deleting his/her entry but keeps on putting it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LUO7AN ( talkcontribs) 16:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Can you (maybe with LUO's help) give me a list of all the IPs this vandal has used? If we're to do a rangeblock, we need to know the whole range. Daniel Case ( talk) 02:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC) reply

Alright, this is going to take a little time to work out the extent of the rangeblock. I'll have to ask a checkuser to see if there are any legit users within the range (and it may be larger than that). I don't want to block the entire Philippines, if that's what would happen, this casually.

IP Interchanging

Please tell any legitimate administrator that many IP addresses have been interchanged. I haven't edited any article in this Wikipedia site and yet they are saying that I have edited all Regine Velasquez and David Archuleta pages. It is so weird. I don't even check their pages. That editor may have a new IP again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.104.26.207 ( talk) 06:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC) reply

OH!

I am so sorry! I did it with intentions though. Reason is because Yukiko Okada's article does not resemble in anyway shape or form a Fan Site. Take a look at Selena's article, sure it may have more words but it has the same media content; Selena's article is not considered a fan page but yet Yukiko's is? Is this a racial thing?
