Hi MJL-
Thank you very much for your help with recent edits to the Fund for the Public Interest page. I would like to propose more changes but want to do it at a pace that is reasonable for you. Can you give me guidance on how often is ok for me to propose edits?

Hello, how are you, i was wondering if we can do an article for Donnie Smith, we have a listing for him on article List of surviving silent film actors, he is one of the rare silent film stars in early Hollwood silent's that are still with us, thought there is no linked article for him, he only appeared in 4 films that where in the film shorts series Our Gang theatrical releases, they later where sold to television networks in syndication and where broadcast as "The Little Rascals", there is not so many references for him, the one linked is fo r a website called Lordheath.com, however this is user generated, it chronicles films in the series as well as the films that where released by Hal Roach studio's including the franchise Laurel and Hardy and Charley Chase series's — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 05:34, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
Yes, although not a major star was known to a nation of viewers of the Our Gang series, i have added more information with ac ross section on hi brother article who was better known, tell me what you think, could you please correct the link reference 8 under the Jay R. An article you recently created,
Visium Asset Management, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to

Honestly, if it is someone outside of the issue, I'm calm and fine with them. My issue is primarily with someone in the issue or an outside person who tries to takeover. My issues have been with Snoogans as he has issues with TE. MrX and I have had issues with him trying to take over the situation without finding out what was going on. Add on my attempts to get the situation focused and there just not being an agreement on getting there. We got the article re-titled which I agreed with, outside of that we haven't gotten far. I don't intend to cause any issues with people. It is just frustration with the lack of effort to improve the article in the face of efforts to just get rid of it. I've always been blunt with my views on here. It is only way my historical discussions have gotten done when being straightforward got the ball rolling.-- Will C 16:12, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MJL, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Hello, how are you my friend, happy new year, sorry about the member above who has labelled you a "sock puppet", I'm sure you will get as you do always and forever sorted out, with no hard feelings. I Think before we add th einfobozes, can we go back and fix the other articles first, firstly of Virginia McLaurin, who we stated SHOULD get recognition for her contributions not only as a supercentenarian , but to humanity and society, adding to list [[List of centenarians), in the selection ACTICVISTS, NO-PROFIT LEADER, AND PHILANTHROPISTS) (2) Could we please with your help create a page for Dwarf actor Harry Earles from The Wizard of Oz a special entry. (3) Going way way back nearly forgot about we talked about the Australian Actor Mr. Alan Rowe, we had trouble finding informations on him and whether he is actually still around, he was pretty old when he was in the TV series PRISONER: CELL BLOCK H, i did find something the actor who was bit player normally for the Grundy Organisation, at DOISCOGS that he even recored a single (Record) called "Puffing Billy" (4) The next is a blog, i see i changed article List of surviving silent film actors, i removed some people names on the list, per non notability policy wikipedia, and they where changed back!!!!, HOWEVER in this incidence i believe the reverter was correct, because while the artists where not so notable, they appeared in a NOTABLE PRODUCTION , which of course was Our Gang, (5)Ahh, and finally..... nominating a wikipedia article for a "star" as a star article, can you please do for me, i nominated Sir Cliff Richard, as he is one of my favourites singers and i know many people would disagree, as per usual, but i think he is actually better than Elvis Presley. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 08:54, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
Hello, sorry of the delay, don't get upset or worry about the meter calling you a sock pupput, you know how i feel now , when being picked don or bully by other editors, maybe you should take that advice you gave me and just Wikipedia:Breathe|, now regarding articles i really do think the Harry Earles article has a chance , as he was in some very famous, and productions and roles, even Gracie Doll, If the either 2 members of The Doll Family, are credible to have there own seperate articles, i can't see why these 2 can't. You should easy get meter stop the Sir Cliff Richard article, with so many fans. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.42.102.44 ( talk) 03:25, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for all your assistance and hard work, i think you are probably right,The Doll Family are probably best known as a quartet at least in the travelling sideshow/ circus atmosphere , although Harry did have a role in The Wizard of Oz, as a member of the lollipop guild, who hand's Dorothy Gale a lollipop when she arrives in Oz, lol, anyhow, thanks secondly for the artilc ework on Virginia McLaurin, i think however the larger photo of her smiling, and she has a beautiful smile, is clearer for the main pic, could you review. thirdly how did you go on our ALAN ROWE, there where several actors with the same name, i found he recorded a single (record) called Puffing Billy, as part of the promotion of a tourism campaign for the new railway networks that was opening in Melbourne at the time. Now for a 6popular article , i know you have as you said never had an article given a star rating, i am extremely confident you can, the fact that the article you created on Charles P. Roland when to front page, (i only added several details or pieces) is assertion of it, i think Cliff Richard can be given a star rated page, pages you say are "Extremely High Quality" are only considered , i think Cliff is Extremely High Quality, lol — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.42.102.44 ( talk) 01:54, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
Just regarding the Charles P. Roland article again i see the title as CHARLES P. ROLAND, in inbox heading it states CHARLES PIERCE ROLAND, shouldn't t be the same as the heading, there should d be section in the INFOBOX, you know i am fussy about this, but there should d be a section that staes Birth Name or Full Name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.42.102.44 ( talk) 04:05, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
Hello, thank you fo your message, yes see how you go merging the articles, for the 2 members on the Doll/Earles family, the dolls where a close-knit family who ate, lived and performed together, did you know they actually had a house in California, that was fitted out exclusively as a Dollhouse, with all the furnishing's and fitting's custom designed to accommodate them comfortably,. They had a successful run in sideshows like Ringling Brothers and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and performed at such venue as Coney Island, it was only really Harry Earles who became mega famous and had the most successful career in films, so i don't know why the other's were given special articles. Thank-you for your tidying and cleaning up of the articles however, i like the way you do things so professionally and with so much clarity, i think that's why your Charles P. Roland article received much praise. Will get back with them infoboxes to update. I don't have a headset at the moment so am purchasing new ones later this week, so i can easier take calls, correspondence and use Siri. kind regards.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 11:45, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi MJL,
As the heading suggests, I thought I would share with you this recent amendment to one of my MfD !votes as a potentially creative alternative to deletion in the MfD discussion for User:Bryan.Wade. Policy-wise, there is no, as far as I'm aware, decision to support deletion, which is why I supported "keep" originally. However, I fundamentally have a problem with editors displaying wiki awards like Vanguard Editor to which they're not entitled and which seem like "stolen wiki valor" to me. So, examining the editor's diffs and assuming good faith, I thought moving to a subpage of the editor's userpage is the best solution here. What do you think? Feel free to peer review my comment(s), if you wish.
Cheers,

Hello thank-you for your message, always nice to hear from you, you cheer me up.lol, i hope you are okay, and was well-serviced by a professional medical staff, yes i like rather love doing the Filmography's but as the reference's and other informations are removed, some people "jump the gun" and think it is intentional vandalism, what i want to do was go back to Olive Oyl portrayor Margie Hines, (we still don't know if she is living, it is quite likely she was passed away, but we don't have a specific date and place or cause of death) for you to do the filmography of voiceover work, sometime adding them can be tiring, some actor/actress may have some 400 or 500 credits to there name, and then denoting a series, if he or she has been in, i like to write thing correctly with the date the episode and date that it went to broadcast, to be specific. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.42.102.44 ( talk) 15:42, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

about to move your sandbox to a newly named column, "Obituary". When I got the "nevermind" notice. There is a very short write up now in News and notes. I was going to ask in the newsroom discussion if we really wanted to do obits, and let the short term vote decide. Properly handling obituaries is really difficult, but since we messed it up so badly last month, I didn't want to say no myself. If you want the sandbox in this issue, just say yes on my talk page and I'll also just link to it in News and notes. Thanks,

Hello, did you receive my message/s, how is your kidney stone disease, hope you are not in to much pain, if you cant help at the current time, is it possible you could get someone to do the filmography.s and infobox sections.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 22:18, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
Hello, thank-you for your message, it is actually so pleasing just to get some positive news for once, rather than some negative news!!, but yes i knew it would be fine because i have known heaps of people that have had Kidney Stone disease, as well as Gall Stones also. The article we are looking at is again Margie Hines and viewing her talk page as such we are still not able to establish her date of birth or even death, if she has now passed away, we have a UK website genealogy which seems to be accurate, but of course we cannot use original research as a definite conclusion, but anyhow what i am really looking for is a Filmography added for her of all her voice roles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 02:20, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Yes, usually when a filmography is added and uploaded to a article it is more common than not, a formal table, that denotes the name of the production, the year and the role the actor/actresses played, of course filmography not only denotes the film they may have appeared but also television roles, internet roles, voice over for screen and video games etc. Like an example a filmography section for actress Judy Garland, if however there are numerous credits the filmography may beon a seperate page like Laurel and Hardy for example, which would also link to a seperate article of there solo acting appearances. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 21:39, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Yes,i am asking for this as i don't know how to do well, we usually just use IMDb for Filmography sections.

On 7 February 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Visium Asset Management, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that hedge fund manager Jacob Gottlieb hired Status Labs to counteract negative news coverage of him over the closure of Visium Asset Management? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Visium Asset Management. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Visium Asset Management), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I am thinking about going for an RfA in recent times since I have forgone creating articles in order to work with NPP and pending changes reviewing. I've decided that now's the time to do it. I can remember once you suggested me to go for RfA and I doubted to go for that at that time but now I am willing to do that. Would you be willing to nominate me for RfA? If you have spare time you can review my editing history. Abishe ( talk) 03:57, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello MJL,
The first NPP source guide discussion is now underway. It covers a wide range of sources in Ghana with the goal of providing more guidance to reviewers about sources they might see when reviewing pages. Hopefully, new page reviewers will join others interested in reliable sources and those with expertise in these sources to make the discussion a success.
New to NPP? Looking to try something a little different? Consider patrolling some redirects. Redirects are relatively easy to review, can be found easily through the New Pages Feed. You can find more information about how to patrol redirects at WP:RPATROL.
Geographic regions, areas and places generally do not need general notability guideline type sourcing. When evaluating whether an article meets this notability guideline please also consider whether it might actually be a form of WP:SPAM for a development project (e.g. PR for a large luxury residential development) and not actually covered by the guideline.

@ MJL:
Uh oh...your page showed up in my watchlist, so I checked out your userpage, noticed your commonly used templates, and that {{ nac}} is supposed to be substituted. I've been transcluding it! I feel terrible, but, evidently, I see it's got 4,872 transclusions and only probably 5-10 of those are mine (at most). Is that something that we could use AWB for to substitute those incorrect transclusions, and is this worth fixing? On a priority scale, how critical would you rank it (10 being hyper critical; 1 being eventually)?
Cheers,

hello, howler you, see you have added a couple of credits for Margie Hines she according to IMDb appeared in 82 short films, i understand you cannot add it all and this is ImdB not the most reliable of sources anyhow, could you please add however the first 2 listings in the paragraph , because at least these where feature length animations, Gullivers Travels and Mr Bug Goes to Town, there are also some short films under reference 4, which even includes some youtube video samples of her singing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.35.147 ( talk) 04:14, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

I hope everyone is having a great year so far! -- DannyS712 ( talk) 15:53, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
And so ends the first round of the competition. Everyone with a positive score moves on to Round 2, with 57 contestants qualifying. We have abolished the groups this year, so to qualify for Round 3 you will need to finish Round 2 among the top thirty-two contestants.
Our top scorers in Round 1 were:
These contestants, like all the others, now have to start scoring points again from scratch. In Round 1 there were four featured articles, one featured list and two featured pictures, as well as around two hundred DYKs and twenty-seven ITNs. Between them, contestants completed 127 good article reviews, nearly a hundred more than the 43 good articles they claimed for, thus making a substantial dent in the review backlog. Contestants also claimed for 40 featured article / featured list reviews, and most even remembered to mention their WikiCup participation in their reviews (a requirement).
Remember that any content promoted after the end of Round 1 but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Some contestants made claims before the new submissions pages were set up, and they will need to resubmit them. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews.
If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck!

I don't have a headset at the moment so am purchasing new ones later this week, so i can easier take calls, correspondence and use Siri. kind regards.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 11:45, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
okay, will let you know of the helps i need for tomorrow, i don't like doing any filmography or anythink like that when you are not on stand-by, to correct them quickly, before i get labelled a vandal, lol — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.42.102.44 ( talk) 06:57, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi MJL,
As the heading suggests, I thought I would share with you this recent amendment to one of my MfD !votes as a potentially creative alternative to deletion in the MfD discussion for User:Bryan.Wade.
Cheers,

When are you back for publishing, i would really like you to take over the rendering of " Filmography" lists, for me this is becoming to stressful and controversial , after thr removing of references and categories, external links etc. and also help with infoboxes, most other things nminor editing i can handle myself fairly okay,— Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.43.229.8 ( talk) 11:53, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

Good luck!
