This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (You can check the references which are notable and have importance to be placed in Wikipedia. I know he's indef'ed. That's why I wrote He's indef'ed as WP:NOTHERE.

Why would you give an already indef'ed editor a warning, particularly for something he is allowed to do? If it's a disruptive edit then just undo it and ignore it. It's pointless to give almost any warning to an indef'ed editor (the only exception I can think of is if the user is likely to have his talk page access removed), and it is never correct to give a warning for something a user is allowed to do. You gave him a warning for blanking content on his own talk page. That was not appropriate. The fact that he blanked the block notice was not the problem. Filling his talk page with the word "unblock" was the problem. It wasn't a big deal since he wasn't using the unblock template. Ignore it or at most undo it, but don't warn him, and certainly don't warn him for the wrong thing. You might want to read WP:DFTT. Meters ( talk) 05:12, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

I've extensively edited this article, to remove duplication, uncited expressons of praise, uncited opinions, wording that is not idiomatic English, and adjusted book titles so they are in italics and do not link to articles on the books that we do not yet have. .

You refer to hisworks frequently as "many" or "several" other vague expressions. You need to specify --I;ve indicated some of the places. Quite a bit of the material is unreferenced. I've marked some of it--please either add references, or remove the material.

I could equally well have moved the article to draft space, as the form in which I saw it was not in the usual wp style.I chose instead to partially correct to, to indicate to you the sort of problems that must be fixed. certainly you should continue work in English WP also--we need the work of those who know Indian topics. But the way to learn both colloquial English and enWP style is to let someone look over your work before you post it, or to let someone else accept it from AfC. Your shorter articles show fairly good style, and that's a good way to learn. Some of this is the difference between Wikipedias--the English WP is particularly known for having a very plain descriptive style, without any rhetoric. I urge you to continue. If I thought you needed to stop, I would have said so. I want to suggest a method that we teach in NYC to people fortunate enough to know other languages as well as English, which is to write an article on the same topic for both the English and the other language WP. I see that you nominated Draft:Panchami Goswami for speedy deletion under criterion U5 (misuse of Wikipedia as a web host), but that criterion applies only to pages in user space, as do all criteria with U-numbers, so it can't be used in draft space. I have deleted the page under criterion G11 (promotional pages) but you should be careful to make sure that the criteria you use do actually apply to the pages which you nominate. That an article by the same title was deleted in AfD 13 years ago is not a reason to reject a draft, especially since it didn't look like that AfD was even about the same person. Hi. I am not sure you know how to properly use the "date" and "access-date" parameters in the {{ cite web}} template. For every reference in the article, Mohabbat Nasha Hai, you put date=17 September 2021 and access-date=26 August 2021, but the access date cannot be before the date of the source. As an example, if you look at one of the sources you cited from Times of India ( https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/videos/entertainment/music/hindi/latest-hindi-song-mohabbat-nasha-hai-sung-by-tony-kakkar-neha-kakkar/videoshow/65066638.cms), it says the article was last updated 20 July 2018, so that is what you would put as the date in the citation template. This one from koimoi.com ( https://www.koimoi.com/bollywood-movies/music-reviews/hate-story-4-music-review-the-only-good-thing-is-himesh-reshammiyas-retained-voice/) has a date of 8 March 2018 not 17 September 2021 as you put down. The access date is the actual date you personally looked up and confirmed this information. Since you wrote the article on 18 October 2021 (according to the date stamp), I assume that is when you accessed it. In the future, please populate these fields correctly. "date" is the date of the source you looked up; "access-date" is the date you looked up the info. I hope this makes sense. Thank you. I'm still not sure you know how citation dates work. In Mera Mehboob, you have three citations each with the same date of 26 September 2021. Why that date?

• The first one, https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/videos/entertainment/music/hindi/latest-hindi-song-mera-mehboob-sung-by-stebin-ben/videoshow/71503501.cms, shows a date of 19 October 2019.
• The second one, https://www.easterneye.biz/stebin-ben-on-the-fast-track-to-success/, is dated 16 June 2021.
• The third one, https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/videos/entertainment/music/hindi/latest-hindi-song-mera-mehboob-sung-by-awez-darbar-nagma-mirajkar/videoshow/71520261.cms, says it was updated 10 October 2019.

@ Thefarcry: I think you should work in draft again which will help you in making article and you will also get experience in making article and article will not be removed unless there is any problem in it; and if you are not in draft If you can, you can also use the experiment site to create articles.

I went to the live chat and had numerous experts unanimously agree that there was no evidence of such a violation based on what they saw in the draft, so I'm glad thats being confirmed here. That being said, in terms of the subject's references, each contested claim to notability is never cited by the subject, and is supported as a second hand statement from either an interviewer, or simply by the publication itself - which according to /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Interviews : " commentary added to interviews by a publication can sometimes count as secondary-source material." Of course I'm aware of the copyright policy. I'm not accusing you of anything, but keep in mind that drafts should not be declined as copyright violations if they are not, and things like brief quotes, proper names, and lists of things can sometimes trigger the Earwig tool even when there is no copyvio. I have not reviewed the drafts for notability so they may have been declined for another reason, but please be a little more careful because an incorrect decline reason will be confusing and discouraging to a new editor. Lazy Maniik, I wonder if you would consider stopping making AfC reviews for a while. There are several comments on this user talk page about incorrect or confusing rationales for declining drafts, and I have just seen two others from today: Draft:The Underground, New York City about a night club, which you declined as being about "a person not yet shown to meet notability guidelines", and User:Professorpawar/sandbox, which almost empty but is clearly about an academic journal, and you declined it as "a joke or hoax". (You also included "insufficient context" in the second decline, which is more reasonable).

There are a couple of reasons why this is a problem. First, if you are not quite able to understand the appropriate decline rationales yet, it is possible that you also don't quite understand the rationales for accepting drafts. Second, it has to be very confusing for a new editor who is told that their attempt to write an article about a journal is declined because it is a joke/hoax.

I think it would be a good idea if you focused on editing Wikipedia instead of working "behind the scenes" with AfC and similar tasks. Your willingness to help out is appreciated, but it is pretty difficult to help out in an area unless you understand it very well. You could improve your understanding by editing existing articles. Well, I am not involved in granting or removing user rights – I am not an administrator. And I am not suggesting that you should lose the right at this point. My suggestion was that you simply take some time to really learn the policies involved. It is never fun to get a lot of criticism when you are helping out, and I think that if you slow down a little bit, make sure to understand what the different reasons to decline a draft mean, and work on editing articles, you would stop making the kind of mistakes that lead to this criticism.
