Hi!
I had created the French version of the Franklin Loufrani page ( https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Loufrani) however it was deleted immediately.
And also it takes me to a discussion page: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion:Franklin_Loufrani/Suppression
The reason it displays here is "The submission has not been accepted because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. You are welcome to write an article on the subject, but please do not use copyrighted work."
However this page is the faithful translation of the English page so I am not sure why this will include copyright issues while the English page don't.
Can you look into this and shed some light on how I can create this page please?
Thanks!

In 2014, you deleted the article Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods because people called it a "hoax" and said it was not sourced enough. However, since 2014, the tribe has amassed a total enrollment of more than 1,200 enrolled members. They have also made US history this year by signing two treaties with tribes in Canada and one with a state recognized Cherokee tribe in Georgia. They have also been featured on the news FOUR times now. They have also, in a news interview with KVAL, Mayor Kitty Piercy of Eugene, Oregon gave her full support for the tribes recognition. In the same interview you can see the letter of support she wrote for the tribes recognition. Their Senate President is Hafeezah Comeaux, an acclaimed author (google her).
From all of the evidence and SOURCES, this tribe is not a hoax, and the page should be restored. Here are some SOURCES for the tribes existence (international news article, TV interviews, Mayoral recognition and support, and the bill to recognize them in the State of Oregon, which was in committee in 2015 in the Oregon House of Representatives):
The tribe is definitely NOT a hoax, and has enrollment nearing 1,300. The tribe was grossly defamed and their Wikipedia page was wrongly attacked. Clearly the tribe has international presence and has been rising in profile. I believe this tribe should be on Wikipedia due to their ever growing profile and enrollment. The page should be restored. The one I just posted yesterday Una Nation of Mixed-Bloods was deleted due to the original article being deleted. Please restore it. Thank you. Greatspiritlove ( talk) 04:11, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Gary Wales Actor was deleted how come?

Hi, Joe,
I had a question about your bot. I regularly check the database report list of empty categories and tag most of them with a CSD C1 tag unless I know there is a question about how the category was emptied or if the category is the subject of discussion. But I prefer to tag the categories and have another admin do the deletion if the category is still empty after four days.
But I occasionally check my CSD log and look at pages that I've tagged for deletion and look at the ones that weren't deleted to see if I tagged them incorrectly. Usually what occurs is that a category is temporarily empty and then no longer is so I remove the CSD tag. But recently, I've noticed that there are empty categories, sitting in
Category:Empty categories awaiting deletion that are not moved over to
Category:Candidates for speedy deletion as empty categories after four days. I just checked on some empty categories I tagged on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17 that were still in the first category so I deleted them. But I'm only checking on categories that I've tagged, there might be other, older categories that have been sitting in the Empty categories awaiting deletion that need to be moved.
So, I'm just checking to see if the bot is performing its task still or if some code needs tweaking. It's just a little problem but if you could you look into it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Joe, clearly there are new sources that establish credibility to this tribe and its people. As sourced, the tribe is now officially recognized by the Mayor of Springfield, Oregon, Christine Lundberg, as well as given full support for recognition by the Mayor of Eugene, Oregon, Kitty Piercy. Here is the link: [ Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods]. Also, their name has changed to the Una Nation of Mixed-Bloods, as sourced. Please publish the page with their correct name. The tribe has made US history by becoming the first Mixed-Blood tribe in the United States to be recognized, as well as signing two treaties with tribes in Canada, as sourced. The haters are out there, but this tribe is legit and real. They are rising with almost 1,400 enrolled members. Also, on Thursday the 25th, the Prince and Co-Founder of the tribe will be interviewed by the United Nations. More info and sources to be added this week. Thank you so much! Dear Joe, I've followed you for a while. I'm having trouble with some overzealous editors who nominated whirling for deletion, and then summarily merged it, despite abundant work on this end to stave off the effort. The AfD page is here: /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Whirling, and I've also tried to initiate a convo at Neutral POV because the editors who argued for deletion seem to be practicing very troubling (unacknowledged) forms of Orientalism. I'll be initiating a DRV and was hoping you could help intervene in favor of the original standalone dance articles versus the choppy and incoherent merger that resulted. The editing interface will be changed soon. When that happens, editors who currently see two editing tabs – "Edit" and "Edit source" – will start seeing one edit tab instead. The single edit tab has been popular at other Wikipedias. When this is deployed here, you may be offered the opportunity to choose your preferred appearance and behavior the next time you click the Edit button. You will also be able to change your settings in the Editing section of Special:Preferences.
You can choose one or two edit tabs. If you chose one edit tab, then you can switch between the two editing environments by clicking the buttons in the toolbar (shown in the screenshots). See Help:VisualEditor/User guide#Switching between the visual and wikitext editors for more information and screenshots.
There is more information about this interface change at mw:VisualEditor/Single edit tab. If you have questions, suggestions, or problems to report, then please leave a note at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback.

Is there any chance you could take on the task of purging Category:Current peer reviews and Category:Requests for peer review with your null bot? This is necessary for Category:Current peer reviews pending closure to successfully populate, which in turn is necessary for an approved bot task of mine (see Wikipedia:Bots/Requests_for_approval/BU_RoBOT_9). Thank you for participating at my RfA. Your support was very much appreciated even if I did get a bit scorched. Brianhe ( talk) 07:40, 6 February 2016 (UTC) |
Hi, your user talk page was vandalized earlier today. I took care of it and will continue to monitor the guy who 'masterminded' the move. So yeah, sorry for all the notifications on here.—♦♦ AMBER (ЯʘCK) 00:30, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
Hello. I left a comment on the Draft talk:Mobcrush page about your decline and would appreciate your replied there. Thanks Thirtythree ( talk) 10:44, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
It has been indicated that I need a lead sentence. I thought that the first sentence acted a lead. Does the lead go in a special place?
I noted the hyperlink for New Rochelle but I am not sure how to add a hyperlink myself19:11, 2 March 2016 (UTC) Ajacton ( talk). There at least two more that I need to insert and some more will be needed for additional text.

Hello, Joe Decker! Fif The page was marked for deletion with reference to the Benjamin Franklin award not having a verifiable link. I replaced the link with a verifiable link and the page was subsequently deleted. Can you please let me know what I did wrong? I'd like to complete the page and reinstate it per guidelines. Thank you. Pokerdealer123 ( talk) 20:56, 7 March 2016 (UTC)Pokerdealer123
I would like to replace the photo that was added to the bio on a page personally created but that several people have edited. Can you please let me know what the proper steps are. I updated the written portion of page, but now I've been locked out of account on desktop. Periodista1038 ( talk) 00:48, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
Hello Joe Decker! I saw that you reverted a pretty much increased wiki-text to a small text with a few sentences. I wan't to ask you why, and if it had any problems. I can fix them. Thanks! (Ibrahim Alizade)
Hi Joe. There are 8 of us working on our professor's page. You say it is up for deletion. We have now linked the article to other Wikipedia articles and have linked back from at least two. We propose including an entire section on her work on British colonial statues. We are knew and don'[t know all the language but we are trying. Each of the bibliographical references is proof of what has been said in the article. thank you. Honeyabigale Honeyabigale ( talk) 23:56, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi Joe. Thank you for your help and comments. We had to go through Ethics approval for this project which is to increase world knowledge Dr. Steggles was our former professor. All of us use Wikipedia. So we decided to add to the knowledge here so we are working on all the British statues sent to India that she researched. We will visit the other sites as it is complicated to get everything right. Thanks Again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Honeyabigale ( talk • contribs) 00:14, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
Thank you. 38.29.152.121 ( talk) 01:06, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
Why is the page Nathaniel Hoho up for deletion? Finickin ( talk) 00:44, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
Just wanted to point out that the content cited that was copyrighted was actually NOT from the page cited. Good job.

There used to be a page for Group Decision Support System, but no longer. There was also at least a transient version of "Group-Decision" Support System, but that's gone. There =is= a page for "Decision Support System", but I'm not able to determine if that was what started off (or once was) the page for Group Decision Support System. I saw your name attached to a deletion log reference, and wonder if you know what happened to those pages. Thanks! ClaytonCurtis ( talk) 17:57, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
PS: Your "I'm away" message is still active....
@Joe Decker- Thank you for reopening the discussion for the Stephen Maitland-Lewis page. After the editors agreed to delete based on the PDF not meeting verify requirements, the page was indeed deleted. Please direct me on how to potentially reopen the page without the PDF link and mention. In other words, I can remove the award and PDF link. I'm still learning, so I appreciate any input you may have. Pokerdealer123 ( talk) 17:29, 31 March 2016 (UTC)@Pokerdealer123
@Joe Decker- What options do I have to add a new article on this subject? To clarify, there is in no way the option of reopening the article without the contested award and link? I would like to complete the article so it passes all requirements. Thank you for your help. Pokerdealer123 ( talk) 20:05, 31 March 2016 (UTC)@Pokerdealer123

I'd appreciate it - didn't even think about purging issues when I submitted that task. ~ Rob Talk 15:10, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
User:TurboGUY has asked for a deletion review of Lithuania national beach soccer team. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. — Cryptic 22:25, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
