Thanks for uploading
File:RaviShankar'sMusicFestivalFromIndia_poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse ( talk) 14:58, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:LITMW publicity.jpg. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. Hi. Just thought I should get back to you about the note you left in your edit summary at Living in the Material World. The reason I added the ordinals is because it seems to be standard accepted practice to do so; in all the Beatles' album articles, for example, and I think WikiProject-wide consistency is a good thing. A secondary reason is that this guide, while not part of the MoS, has become widely established as a good standard to work from. It states as follows:
It is generally accepted to chronologically number studio albums in discographies where this would be applicable (Nirvana's debut album, Bob Dylan's fourth studio album, etc.).
Otherwise, I would just as soon not get into the debate about whether or not to count Electronic Sound and/or Wonderwall Music. A while ago, I got bold and removed the "experimental albums" field from the George Harrison template entirely. If I remember correctly, there were some (unchallenged) changes made to both Paul McCartney discography and Template:John Lennon that discarded the "experimental albums" field/section heading as well. Really the problem with it is that it's an unscientific determination. Electronic Sound is a studio recording, and it's an album by George Harrison (the first released in his name); all RS's will agree on that point. Wonderwall Music isn't really an issue, as it was a soundtrack and is counted separately for that reason.
The way I see it, the ordering listed in the lede section for each album's article (which should contain ordinals, by all accounts) ought to match the same ordering in the template. If you have a better suggestion for the template or for the ordinals, I'm open to that. Sorry to go on so long. Cheers! Evanh2008 ( talk| contribs) 05:32, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:GeorgeH&Olivia1975.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. Hi JG66, how are you? I hope all is well. The reason I'm writing to you is that I am interested in tinkering away and expanding the Dylan content in the "If Not For You" article, and likely eventually, taking it to GA. I notice that you have done some work on the Harrison section of it, and that you have some Harrison GAs and GAs-to-be under your belt. I don't know whether you had any plans to do more work on the article, but I was wondering whether you had any objections to me changing the reference style used. I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm most comfortable using the reference method where blue links take you from the Notes section to the References section (it's a kind of Harvard style, but I'm not sure if there are other variations that are also called Harvard). But if you were planning to do more work on it, and have a strong opinion about the reference style, I can be flexible about that. Just let me know, thanks! Hi JG66. About the over-linking, is it really necessary to have Harrison's name linked twice in the same infobox? I don't see how one can miss his name in the heading. It's at the top. If you look at the article for John Lennon's song "Imagine", you'll see that Lennon's name isn't linked under songwriter because his name is already linked at the main heading. Why link twice? I won't necessarily change all of the George Harrison-related articles that have this issue. That would take up a lot of time. It's just a small change. No big deal. If George Harrison's name and the album All Things Must Pass is linked at the beginning of a sentence, that is fine. Linking more than once in the same sentence is then considered to be over-linking according to Wikipedia guidelines. Would you wikilink a person's name or something twice in the same sentence? Hi again, I've just taken a look at the article and left a few comments on the review page. Generally I think it seems fine, but found one or two small things that may need to be clarified a bit further. I've also asked for a second opinion as I reviewed the page with a text-to-speech programme so there are some things it may not pick up. Mostly these are small things such as punctuation and checking the copyright status of images, so hopefully these should be fine. Good luck and let me know if you need any more feedback.

Hello JG. How have you been? If you're not busy, could you have a look at Barrett (album)? (Don't worry, I haven't GA nom'd it yet.) yeepsi ( Time for a chat?) 20:42, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wah-Wah (song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kinfauns ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Could you explain how Let It Be was not their then forthcoming album in the context of its rejection? "What would become" is entirely synonymous with "their then forthcoming". Viriditas ( talk) 04:23, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
