Category:CS1 errors: dates has suddenly ballooned from about six articles yesterday to 235 articles as I write this. Those additions appear to be the work of this bot. Please fix the bot.

Britfilm: It appears that you created some of the articles that have this error, such as
A Rum Affair. Could you please remove the incorrect

I understand the purpose of the bot is to improve/fix citations in our articles. But why is it running on ANI and making fixes there? I understand that we typically don't make these sorts of corrections on behalf of others when in the projectspace. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:26, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
