I finally got to add that image for the Post Office building in Patchogue, New York. Would this upgrade the article from a stub by any chance? If not, you'd still have to admit it's a nice image. ---- DanTD ( talk) 03:57, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi pleased to meet you. Thank you very much for your help and reverting the vandal and internet troll attacks on the Jat people article. I have been keeping a close eye on the article over the last 12 months and the Jat people article has been prone to many racist internet troll & vandal attacks. The reason why this has and is happening is because it is about ethnic group that is prone to many racist attacks. Many of the anon racist attack are by anon ips and newly created vandal/troll wiki attack accounts. Please can you put the article in your wikipedia watchlist ( Help:Watching pages) and revert anon ips and newly created vandal/troll attack changes. Personally I think the article needs semi-protection like the Jewish people article. Finally, thank you very much for your help and reverting the vandal and internet troll attacks on the Jat people article, please continue giving your anti-vandalism help on the Jat people article. Thank you.-- James smith2 ( talk) 02:54, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
I commend what you have done with pictures throughout Florida & elsewhere, but I reversed the image column you added to the List of museums in Florida. There was consensus achieved to not add an image column to the state museums tables when we broke out the states into individual lists as discussed in Talk:List of museums in the United States. Sorry about that. FieldMarine ( talk) 02:16, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Thanks four recent message about getting images of the Zola Neale Hurston House. I'm not in a position right now to do much in the way of new photographing. I can't even do the ones within a few miles of my house. The Hurston House is maybe 15 miles away and is not in the safest neighborhood, so I would be hesitant to go there alone. But who knows, I may find someone willing to help.
On another note, I saw your comment about commons on the NRHP project talkpage. I just did an article on Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist (Seattle, Washington) and the is a commons categoy under the incorrect title of Category:7th Church of Christ Scientist (Seattle). CS churches always spell out First, Second, etc., and always add City AND State regardless of size. How do I go about getting commons change to match or is it worth the hassle? Many thanks. clariosophic ( talk) 22:08, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi i didn't see your reply about the map of 2008 NHL nominations. I just copied your work over into a template "Template:NHLs2008map" so i could include it over at wp:NHLs 2008, just added there. Thanks! I think it certainly works for showing the USA distribution, though the labels don't work in the northeast. Perhaps it modified to show dots but not labels in the northeast, plus a closer-in map of the northeast, done similarly, might work? I don't know if a closer-in map is available.
Also, i had noticed some time back in your talk page, that you were wondering about doing something for anniversary of wp:NRHP. I could be into helping out on something. I still don't grok what purpose a portal can serve, and would still welcome any pointers to example portals that are believed to work well for wikiprojects or for some other purpose. But, keying off the bios list included in your draft portal, for this anniversary what about creating a list-article of NRHP VIPs. To include architects associated with many NRHPs, and U.S. presidents or NPS administrators highly associated with the NRHP program, or just architects with tallies of their NRHP counts? Note, i tallied architects in intro to List of NHLs in NY. We could create a list in a sandbox area, and propose it for DYK to be displayed on wp:NRHP anniversary day (not too hard, but not guaranteed). Or, develop it towards Featured List, and ask for it to be featured on that day (harder). Or, perhaps it would be better to do a drive to get several regular NRHP and/or NHL lists to Featured List status, rather than diverting to something about architects. Actually, a drive to get several lists to FL status, and then to ask that one of those be featured on wp:NRHP day, seems perhaps best because it is on-topic. Having pushed the 4th of July drive, i don't necessarily want to be the one proposing a new drive right now, but I would be a likely supporter/participant. The 4th of July drive seems to have been a good experience for many. Cheers, doncram ( talk) 17:35, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi! I've noticed you've been doing some editing, mostly involving replacing "U.S. Route 1" with "U.S. 1" in some form or another. Most in the road community prefer "US" instead of "U.S." when abbreviating in pipe links and elsewhere. There have been a few instances where there was "US 15/U.S. 1/US 501" (eg) in the same line, and once where every other pipe link was "U.S. Route XX" and then there was "U.S. 1" (that's AWB for ya). I, and we, greatly appreciate the editing and the redirection of links to the appropriate state articles, and this is just to give you a heads up as you may not be familiar with this yet. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! Thanks again, -- MPD T / C 18:55, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Another instance, for La Plata, Maryland obscures the point made: Route 1 is about 20 miles to the west, on the other side of the Potomac River. That's the alternative to Route 301 through La Plata. The Maryland portion of Route 1 is generally much further away than that. Tedickey ( talk) 00:35, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Thank you for pointing out NRHP to me. I responded previously on my talk page but forgot to respond here. I'm still reading in bits & pieces and watching the group currently to gain insight. Hi. Your photo, Image:Orlando Lake Eola Heights Hist Dist01.jpg, looks cockeyed to me. I downloaded it and discovered that it isn't. However, if you crop it a bit tighter, so that the chimney on the left is omitted (and an equivalent amount on the bottom and right) it looks right, at least to me. Just a suggestion...
Also, the Image:Dixiehwyhastings1.jpg image on your user page at Commons looks exactly like a road I drove once called the "old Brick Road", between Rt 204 near Flagler Estates and the little town of Espanola, west of Lehigh Woods. If you have a Florida Delorme, it's on p. 68, bottom center. I'm just curious-- is this the same road? Hi -- Saw your helpful note within Talk:Douglas County Courthouse. Calling for AGF is always valid, can help. About ignoring all rules though, i have been negotiating with most of those same participants at wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation and mostly NOT asking for any exception. The Douglas County Courthouse and Lewis House and other NRHP dab pages addressed meet the MOSDAB and specifically the MOS:DABRL rules to the letter. So i am downplaying appearance of asking for any special break.
However, many NRHP dab pages have NRHP redlinks that just mention ", NRHP" or ", NRHP-listed" and don't comply exactly with the specific requirement there be a blue-link to an article such as a county or state NRHP list. In these cases I guess i am asking them to cut some slack, either to let those be or to fix them by adding the specific link, rather than deleting the NRHP redlinks. So I can't say i am not asking for any break at all. But nor am I asking them to ignore all rules, which seems to inflame matters in those conversations. doncram ( talk) 19:13, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
