Thank you diannaa for the deletion. But one unknown user uploaded a new version with the existing Summary that was modified by me. That was identified by me as a Vandalism because source of the file where he got was not added to the Summary. And also it is a unnecessary upload by that user. November 2012 backlog elimination drive wrap-up
Participation: Thanks to all who participated! Out of 38 people who signed up this drive, 33 copy-edited at least one article. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. All the barnstars have now been distributed. Progress report: We achieved our primary goal of clearing November and December 2011 from the backlog. For the first time since the drives began, the backlog consists only of articles tagged in the current year. The total backlog at the end of the month was 2690 articles, down from 8323 when we started out over two years ago. We completed all 56 requests outstanding before November 2012 as well as eight of those made in November. Copy Edit of the Month: Voting is now over for the October 2012 competition, and prizes have been issued. The November 2012 contest is closed for submissions and open for voting. The December 2012 contest is now open for submissions. Everyone is welcome to submit entries and to vote. ![]() Coodinator election: The six-month term for our fourth tranche of Guild coordinators will expire at the end of December. The Longerich book is excellent as is the Snyder book, The Bloodlands. They both have Kindle eds. I would encourage you to do some work on this piece. I would be glad to help in any way I can. I have tip toed around substantive edits for a long time now: it is a can of worms full of wiggling personal agendas. One of the reasons it is so long is the inclusion of at least ten subsections under Non Jewish. They don't really belong in this piece, and each has its own WP article, but attempts to remove calls forth accusations of not giving significance to the millions of others who were murdered etc. It is a pity that such an important article has been such an unwieldly mess for a long time already.-- Joel Mc ( talk) 21:43, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ronny Carlos da Silva, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paulo Rodrigues ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This wikistalking is ongoing for 5+ months now, and if I can't protect my own talk page then I will have little choice but to stop editing. Now here it comes ... I am going to give you some unsolicited advice. Have a look at those four people at the top of my talk page. When Billy Smith hacked at Gretzky in the Stanley Cup finals in 1983, did he threaten to quit hockey? No he did not. In fact when the press asked him about it he didn't diss Smith; he just said that it was part of the game. Or how about that little lady beside him? Did she let the bastards get her down? No she did not. You gotta get yourself a sense of perspective here. Life is pretty darn good in this part of the world, in this day and age. If the worst of your troubles is an occasional post by an IP troll you have it very good indeed my friend. So please try to keep calm and don't take it so seriously. This too shall pass -- Dianna ( talk) 03:00, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
May I ask why you deleted that record? There is material in there which is going to be needed for a Arbcom compliance case. I have answered your "want do I want" question at ANI. There's possibly a glitch affecting the appearance of certain images, e.g. File:Alicanto, Inc. Logo.pdf, and although I've manually processed the files correctly in Illustrator, the thumbnails nevertheless appear badly compressed when uploaded. I'm unfamiliar with the Squid backend and essentially waiting for the developers to investigate and resolve the anomaly, but in the meanwhile I'd appreciate it if someone were to delete those Alicanto uploads as superfluous. Thanks for giving this a try. I do understand your decision. It is a weak point in WP that competing agendas can prevent the reasonable development of an article even when one of those agendas is to improve the encyclopedic qualities of an article. I did not know that there was a DRN discussion (I have never done that before) or I might have added something although it is hard for me to understand that a 1977 personal opinion by Simon Wiesenthal--an important historical figure, but not a historian--should be accepted as an authority on the issue at hand when compared to the eminent historians referred to, thus preventing any movement ahead. Hello Diannaa! We've been in touch before. I wanted to get the opinion of another editor on something and saw you were online; what do you think about the idea of a bot to automatically update Template:Vandalism information? Updating it manually is tedious and the amount changes quickly. A bot would complement the situation perfectly IMO. I would just need to see where Huggle gets the revert count from, and if there is an API for it. What do you think of this idea? Vacation nine 04:37, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Hi Dianna. I've been trying to rewrite the Danny Green article to reduce the vast amount of unsourced and POV information that both exists in the article, and is currently being added. My aim with the article is to reduce it to the basic facts (hopefully non-controversial) so that knowledgeable local editors can find sources. Currently, I'm being thwarted by an IP who is undoing my edits as I go. Could you please have a look at the article and see if there is anything you can do to clear the path for me to improve it over the next day or two? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I understand the BLP concerns when you semi-protected 2012 Delhi gang rape case article. But please also note that this article was far from complete and was getting massive contributions from IP addresses, mainly because of the coverage the issue has got in India.
Can I please request you to remove that protection from the page, not due to BLP concerns, but to improve the article? Almost every single edit we got there was way constructive, and we were getting very regular contributions until the protection. So can the protection be please reverted until such further time the article becomes stable and comprehensive?

On TV3 (Malaysia) there are some incorrect information.
For example the "normally tuned to 3" is very vague. I have TV3 on channel 4 because I use auto scan. But it is always channel 32 if you are in Tioman, 12 if you are in Kuala Lumpur. And in my office, I have TV3 tuned to channel 10.
As well as 24 hour broadcast, it's actually startet in 1 January 2011 at 02:00. And it has NEVER been 24-hour in the 90's. In 1996 TV3 broadcast from 9:00 to 24:00.-- 110.49.240.242 ( talk) 04:11, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
Reply: actually there is no sources for that either. But I tried both but I don't see any sources. No sources for both my claim and their claim. Actually we can remove this, because there is no need to list pastime schedule from 80 or 90. What about the channel? I suggest using UHF/VHF channel rather than normally tuned to, because each TV set is different.-- 110.49.251.116 ( talk) 10:11, 22 December 2012 (UTC)

I know that files taken by the government, and the Air Force by extension, are in the public domain. Text, by extension, I would imagine follows that course as well. I see that the article is part of Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the Air Force Historical Research Agency, which is in the public domain. The question is whether or not afhra.ah.mil's PD status extends to the whole site. I would lean yes towards that, but can't say for 100% certainty. Wizardman 18:27, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

If there is such a consensus I'd accept it and never again intervene in that matter, but could you as an involved but somewhat more detached from the debates admin point it out to me?-- — ZjarriRrethues — talk 23:54, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
