Bye... -- Danielos2 15:18, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to see a list of the most popular and most frequently visited sites on Wikipedia? -- Danielos2 20:07, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
I would also want to know if there is a way to know how many visits there have been to a particular site. For example, if I start a new article, it would be fun to know how many have read/seen it? -- Danielos2 20:10, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Any other questions, ask at bootcamp, or direct them to my user talk page. -- Chachu207 20:37, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
I found an article (Inkanyamba) that seemed to be of very poor quality and with no references, probably a bad joke. How do I tag an article for possible deletion?
"Articles should not usually be in both a category and its subcategory. For example Golden Gate Bridge is in Category:Suspension bridges, so it should not also be in Category:Bridges. However there are occasions when this guideline can and should be ignored. For example, Robert Duvall is in Category:Film actors as well as its subcategory Category:Best Actor Oscar. See #5 for another exception. For more about this see Wikipedia:Categorization/Categories and subcategories"
Figured this might be helpful when categorizing items. Cheers! -- Miwa 21:10, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
I want to report some problems concerning the Wikipedian "Lcoleman@maine.rr.com"
He (the cryptozoologist Lauren Coleman, I presume)seems to use Wikipedia article for very unserious, uncritical and cynical self-promotion and a desire to sell his books. Is it possible for any administrators to look into this and maybe give him a warning to stop this or he will be banned? He gives cryptozoology and Wikipedia a bad name with his shameless sensationalism and self-promotion! Please take a look at his contributions and tell me what you think!
Thanks!

An admin can ban him from ever editing Wikipedia again. In just a second I'll take a look at his edits and then I'll tell you waht page it is that you will need to contact adminnistrators. ForestH2
Check the page out. If he keeps on going post to this talk page or my talk page. I have added a warning. Since he has not gone through proper warnings, he can't be blocked until the warnings are finished. At current he has 1 or 2 more warnings, I have check the vandalisim warnings page and then he strikes out. Best Regards, ForestH2

Oh, I agree with you. I think most of Coleman's edits are nothing but self-promotion. The main things I restored to his page were the references to Weird Ohio and Creatures from the Outer Edge in his list of notable works. These books do exist, and I think they deserve a mention. I also tweaked the description of Jerry D. Coleman as a way of compromising with Loren, who's just going to keep vandalizing that section as long as we describe his brother as a "fellow cryptozoologist." (Yeah, there's a whole soap opera behind that one. The two don't get along with one another, from what I can gather, and they haven't really collaborated on any recent cryptozoological research.) Thirdly, I added a brief reference to Orang Mawas, since Coleman was talking about that cryptid on Coast to Coast AM a few weeks ago.
However, I should have been more clear in my edit summary when I said we were throwing out the baby with the bathwater, because, really, the majority of your decisions have been totally justifiable. I do think we should keep watching his edits, as he seems to think these articles are his personal pages. Cheers, Zagalejo 17:33, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Loch Ness Monster and popular culture, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Loch Ness Monster and popular culture satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also " What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Loch Ness Monster and popular culture and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Loch Ness Monster and popular culture during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Crown of Ardania, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's
criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "
What Wikipedia is not" and
Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{
dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on
its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. βcommand 09:09, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
