I took the liberty of adding the standard National Register of Historic Places stuff to your new article, Idlewild (Talladega, Alabama), it is interesting and you did a great job!

I forgot to let you know how to create NRHP infoboxes, most of us at the National Register of Historic Places WikiProject use this automatic generator. There are also some helpful resources listed at the project's main page, linked above. Altairisfar ( talk) 14:56, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Hey, that would be great if you could get images for the Birmingham Lustron houses, there are three. Here's the info from the NRHP:

Hey, however you would like to do it is completely fine by me. If there are a lot of houses that you want to add, a table might work better than paragraphs. If you need any assistance, just let me know. It took me a while to get good at tables, but the best way that I found to start is to find one you like and copy it. I went ahead and started the Silk Stocking District entry so that your article on the Welch House would have at least two other articles linking to it, to hopefully avoid it being tagged as an WP:ORPHAN. By the way, I just noticed a few hours ago that your Dicksonia Plantation and Mount Ida Plantation articles have both been nominated (nominations are at: Mount Ida - Template talk:Did you know#Articles created/expanded on June 23 Dicksonia - Template talk:Did you know#Articles created/expanded on June 24) as potential Did you know entries on the main Wikipedia page. Hey, Mount Ida Plantation has be selected to appear in the "Did you know" section on the Main Page. It is currently in the prep area. Just thought you might be interested to know. Not sure when it will actually appear on the main page, but when it does it will be up there for 6 hours until the next queue appears. Altairisfar ( talk) 21:46, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
On 2 July 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Mount Ida Plantation, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Mount Ida Plantation in Talladega County, Alabama, burned to the ground after being struck by lightning? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

On 8 July 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Dicksonia Plantation, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the main house at Dicksonia Plantation in Alabama was destroyed by fire twice during the 20th century? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
