Oi Al - manda brasa. You posted a photo of a BBC Master to the Master's entry, but the photo shows the computer in an imperfect light. Assuming Digger/ATL is you, would it be too much to take a fresh photo showing the computer in a working state? If you need any help getting the computer properly configured I'll do my best to help -- being an Acorn fan, I consider it a shame if the Wikipedia photo of a Master shows it misconfigured and failing to understand an incorrect "*hello world".
It would be pretty cool IMO to show it running EDIT (the Acorn Screen Editor, supplied as part of the internal Mega ROM IC) in descriptive mode (mode D), a program which constituted one of the nicest improvements of that machine. Assuming all virtual ROMs are inserted, you type *EDIT to invoke it. That, or just photograph the OS start screen (Acorn MOS/Acorn 1770 DFS/BASIC).

I did some rewriting of the (spoiler-ladden) summary. Maybe we should include the info that the story was told by Miss Jane to Ayrton? I don't know what's more horrifying in this novel: the eugenics ideas that flow from it, the dark future where a genocide of 104 million people is perpretrated in cold blood, or the calmness of the two characters that don't find anything wrong with that (BTW: feel free to reply either in Talk:O Presidente Negro or in [pt:Discussão:O Presidente Negro pt:Discussão:O Presidente Negro]). Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles ( talk) 02:31, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

By your Wiki history, you don't edit almost nothing at this Wikipedia. It is easy to notice that you act as a "gatekeeper" for article Partido da Imprensa Golpista, because it is months without editing it, but if someone appears in the article you move immediately to reverse or change the issues. The article is not your property! It is also easy to see that you are removing, or placing, information partially, according to your personal convictions. I ask politely to stop to turn this article into a political pamphlet, do not want to have to throw the administration of the Wikipedia to block you from editing this article. 186.205.17.133 ( talk) 13:33, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

I just want to thank you for volunteering and to say how appreciative I am of the work translator do, in particular with the fundraiser. It is nothing short of vital.
Our first big test of the year is going to be dedicated to the Spanish language and so over the coming days you'll receive a number of translation requests. For the moment the goal is insuring that all donor communications are fully translated. These quick steps will help get you started:
The Fundraising team are also looking for local testers and proofreaders in the spanish language to help us throughout the year.
If you would be interested in helping us please email me (jseddon at wikimedia.org), post on my meta talk page [1] or post on the talk page of the fundraiser translation hub [2]. Feel free to post any questions, comments or feedback about the new translation extension on the same talk page as well [2].
You should receive one more notification after this. I will try and keep the notification traffic down as best I can.

Note: This time, the "Wikimedia Foundation highlights" section does not include the usual coverage of the most notable work of Foundation staff during that month. Instead, it contains a list of talks given by Foundation staff at Wikimania, summarizing their most important work the year over. It looks like a lot of text, but only the talk titles will need to be translated. The intention is that these titles alone can already give readers a good overview of what the Foundation is working on in general.

Hi Al, I don't think your massive inclusion of a huge promotional image in the talk pages of the articles being translated in the Spanish wikipedia are creating a good image. See here, please and consider a) there is no wikiproject in the Spanish Wikipedia that could justify the use of a wikiproject banner in the articles talk page; and b) even if you, its format is set and is much less "intrusive". You can post your opinion there if you wish. Best regards -- Ecemaml ( talk) 16:11, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
