Stats in football players' infoboxes and update of career stats

Hi.

When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate= (or |nationalteam-update=) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~.

When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237  (talk) 16:05, 7 June 2016 (UTC) reply

Footballer notability

Thank you for wanting to contribute to English Wikipedia. However, as mentioned previously by FoCuSandLeArN, we have notability guidelines, and our notability guidelines for footballers says that they need to have played in a fully professional league. The Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a fully professional league, and so its footballers are not notable enough for a Wikipedia article- thus the articles you have created will no doubt be deleted. Please do not create/recreate articles on non-notable Bosnian footballers. Joseph2302 ( talk) 21:56, 13 June 2016 (UTC) reply

Articles with no text, no sources

Please stop creating article which have an infobox but no text, like Benjamin Šehić. An infobox is an optional extra for an article, but every article in the encyclopedia must include text. At the very least a "lead sentence" like "Benjamin Šehić (born 8 September 1995) is a footballer from Bosnia-Herzegovina." Articles must also contain sources: tell us where you found the information - it might be a website, a book, a newspaper, but you need to tell us. Pam D 14:54, 14 June 2016 (UTC) reply

Notice

The article Adnan Alihodžić has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFOOTY and WP:GNG. Hasn't played outside the second tier of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which isn't a WP:FPL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Vedran Kjosevski, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Veles.

I consider this a final, final warning against you. This is the third such message you have received. Create any more pages about non-notable footballers, and I'm going to request a block. Joseph2302 ( talk) 15:09, 14 June 2016 (UTC) reply
