Toddy1. On English-language Wikipedia, we use commonly recognisable English-language names. This is explained at
WP:COMMONNAME. The commonly used name in English is Kiev (see
Talk:Kiev), so changing it to "Kyiv" in the article on
Irpin was unhelpful. Other languages have other names. But here on English-language Wikipedia, we use the English-language name. Please do not change them to transliterations of foreign words.
