So if a line seems slightly odd syntactically, it maybe for that reason. My sense (and memory) of the article is that many of your changes have returned the article text to a version close to the source, because you have a good ear for what would sound natural. I think it's fine, you couldn't be expected to know, I'm just flagging it up for future ref. I hope you enjoy editing here. I feel the Robocon1 version is generally preferable to the present one, without getting involved in the detail.
