Disambiguation link notification for January 29

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1st Arkansas Field Battery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Army of the West ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). 143rd Indiana Infantry Regiment

Aleutian06,

In response to your comment on my talkpage. I am currently up to the 140th Indiana Infantry Regiment, this regiment by far has more information than the regiments between the 142nd Indiana Infantry Regiment and the 159th Indiana Infantry Regiment. The only improvement with the 140th Indiana Infantry regiment is to construct another paragraph or so to summarize the rest of the regiments' history. Unfortunately, I am limited by the Frederick H. Dyer Compendiums' (1959; Originally published in 1908), William R. Holloway (2004; Originally published in 1908) and finally W.H.H. Terrell (1867) files from the archive.org website. Unfortunately, I cannot buy every book that has regimental history for regiments for Indiana and other states of America. Hope I can help you out anytime. 7th Regiment, Arkansas County, Missouri Territorial Militia in War of 1812

I am very impressed by the quality of the work you have done on the Arkansas Territorial Militia article. I am interested in the role of the Territorial Militia in the War of 1812, and I would like to know where I can find out more. Did they really serve and see action? I have read that Edmund Hogan was at the Battle of New Orleans, but have not found a substantial record yet.

Where can I find this petition of the 25? Might the Missouri State Archives have the actual petition?

I am having trouble finding information regarding the Arkansas Military Journal on Google, is there a library in Central Arkansas where a civilian might locate editions of this journal?

DaveRazz ( talk) 03:08, 22 October 2013 (UTC)DaveRazz

Copies of the Arkansas Military Journal are available at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, which is part of the Cental Arkansas Library System. The Butler Center is located in the River Market District of Arkansas. The footnote that I have on Hogan's War of 1812 service is "Soldiers' Records: War of 1812 – World War I, Missouri Office of the Secretary of State, Missouri State Archives, Missouri Digital Heritage, Accessed June 15, 2011"
I think I had retrieved a copy of the petition, but I can't seem to find it right now. It may be a on different computer. It was never clear to me if the service that Hogam was requesting payment for was before of after he moved to Pulaski County. I wondered if it were possible that a volunteer company had been raised in Pulaski County and Hogan was it's Captain, but I could never verify this. Missouri formed a few volunteer companies to help secure the territory against native americans. Let me know if you are able to track down anthing new on Hogan. I have always wanted to try and understand exactly where his home was located in Crystal Hill. Aleutian06 ( talk) 15:54, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2nd Arkansas Field Battery may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

  • the same error made by former Confederate General Marcus J. Wright...".<ref name="Cannon Smoke"/>}}

I was wondering if you would like to take a look at the list of American Civil War Regiments on a subpage of mine: User:Adamdaley/American_Civil_War_Regiments – It is still incomplete. Adamdaley ( talk) 23:18, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
