I've started these articles on U.S. Navy aircraft squadrons. The inspiration was the online availability of DANAS, the Dictionary of American Naval Aviation Squadrons, a public domain source that provides the raw material for hundreds of articles. Most of these articles are about disestablished squadrons that have a significant history, but weren't in Wikipedia until now. Click here for useful boilerplate used in creating them. Click HERE if you're Lou and have just added one to this page. Click HERE to see tables listing all of the squadrons in DANAS, and relating them to their Wikipedia articles.
