ExplainingI patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS ( talk) 22:12, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

A1 and A3Hi Fylbecatulous, may I remind you of the instructions not to apply A1 and A3 tags in the first few minutes after an article is created? Sometimes those deletion tags drive away the very second edit that would have made the tag itself superfluous.I agree that Sandip Narwade would have been correctly tagged if you had waited a bit longer, but just two minutes after the article is created means we may well get no further edits from that editor. Bicolor catHi - regarding the removal of the citation needed in the Bicolor Cat page - the reference given simply shows that T S Elliot wrote a poem about a group of cats who happened to be bicolor. He called it The Song of the Jellicles. All the reference shows is that T S Elliot used the term, it does not show that the word is used in the UK to describe a bicolor cat. 86.168.67.75 ( talk) 15:04, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

Magic cures for linkrotFylbecatulous Thanks for all your help with The Nightowls article. I’ve learned a lot by looking at what you’ve done. I was wondering if you could explain a few things so I can learn more. When I add a URL - I see that you expand the reference with codes like Cite weburl= or Cite webtitle =, the access date, author etc. Your notes say someone about “filling in a bare reference”? i.e. the Nobody But You single & the reference to the Austin Monthly-Austin Amplified. Or wherever the URL for the Nigthowls Website is used. I see coding with the words ref name= ref name=ten after the link to the Soul Music article ref name-apple1 after the Get Up single release note I just added a reference to The Nightowls from a review that I found on this UK website – propermusic.com. I’ll take a look at how you update this. I really want to tout that it’s a UK site due to the international exposure, especially because they are playing the internationally know Austin City Limits Music Festival next week. Next I want to work on an article I found - “Music of Austin, Texas” – which I’m very into. It’s very extensive but needs some work. There are a lot of notes on things that have Wikipedia articles that are not coded as such. I want to add some information i.e. Black Fret is a 2 yr old philanthropic organization modeled on the “patronages of Opera, Museums” etc. – but with a focus on supporting musician. It’s comprised of some “movers & shakers’, connected people with deep pockets etc. & they’re building a 2 million dollar endowment. They provide grants & give great support to musicians throughout the year. Thanks again for your guidance and help. David R AustinTx ( talk) 00:55, 29 September 2015 (UTC) A little reading and access to a couple of tools will give you the freedom and knowledge to be the excellent editor you desire to be. Adding Images - pixel questionFylbecatulous Thanks for adding the picture to the Nightowls article! As you saw, I tried editing the code you entered for the previous image & by just replacing the file name - but it didn't seem to come out in the preview so I reversed it. Thanks again for being proactive & doing it. I don't understand the "px" i.e. 400px for this or the 275px for the other pic. I looked at the detailed information about the pics & it has a bunch of pixel sizes - but I don't see how they relate to the 275px or 400px? Thanks to your previous guidance, I was able to add a new URL and run the refill template to fix it. As you saw, the band is doing very well. I went to see them at ACL & they had a large enthusiastic crowd. They've extended their tour & have been picked for SXSW again. That's a huge deal - over 8,000 artist apply from around the world & only 2,000 get selected. I know you like cat pictures – I have one I want to send you. Maybe I can use this as a test to see if I understand the “px” question. I’m having trouble even finding this pic to look at the details. I get to some screen where it looks like it’s for searching Wikipedia Commons – but when I tried searching for the Nightowls - it just showed the BOTG & Stubbs pics – not the new one. This also doesn’t work for my cat pic. Thanks again as always for your guidance & help. David R AustinTx ( talk) 22:56, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Trouble fixing Bare URLFylbecatulous I'm having trouble fixing a bare URL in The Nightowls article. You've told me how to do this using the Refill tool & I've done it before. I've bookmarked your talk page with the instructions & looked at that. I'm trying to fix the one I added today - but the tool is saying "no references found" and the URL is not being fixed. I am a big fan of tools here. Much can be done manually, but for example WP:HOTCAT makes mincemeat out of adding categories for me.
Now you will have the same edit summary as I did... Sorry to be so wordy... All the best as always, David, Fylbecatulous talk 12:53, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

I've double checked the URL I added & it seems code OK. Not sure what's going on, can you see what the problem is - I'm going to be adding a number of references. THANKS! ...if you want to try the brackets, here is the one for cite web: {{cite web |url= |title= |author= |date= |website= |publisher= |access-date= |quote=}}. Here they all are at WP:CIT; cite news, books, whatever you might need. Always happy to help. ツ

BENN JORDANThis article has been tagged for deletion and is quite dubious as the musician clearly wrote it himself, is not notable, and has 18 seperate articles for purported releases that are unsourced, not notable or never actually released.
