Hi B9 hummingbird hovering, Please be assured that this round table interview will be equally "painful" (joke) for all participents. We made the commitment to make sure all the candidates were uninformed about what was coming to avoid pre-prepared answers.   «l| Promethean ™|l»  (talk) 03:19, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

There are no problems only solutions

I am feeling trepidation and uncertainty at the moment. My notebook started to play up because my system secured some malicious code from an unauthorized Skype plugin, one of four I downloaded last weekend. At the same time Microsoft downloaded an update to Windows Explorer and Media Player which I had uninstalled and deleted from my system. I got the shits I started to delete and unstall things left right and centre, doing some significant system cleansing, whilst doing this my virus protection identified malicious code in my registry. I am new to this virus protection and I didn't see a quarantine function only a delete. Anywaze, after I deleted I couln't connect to the Internet anywhich way. I tried all my problem-solving and wiles but no cigar. There are no problems only solutions and I have a new friend who wishes to help me convert to Ubuntu/Linux: I want to do this and have wanted to do this transition for such a long time as it is inline with my values and yet I am playing hide and seek with my mate who wants to help me...I confuse and confound myself sometimes.

'Guidelines' are exactly that. The rite of dedication and invocation is auspicious and key in the Buddhadharma textual tradition. It hurts not and adds the warmth of devotion and beauty. The nature of the Snowlion and the relationship of bliss arising from the 'unborn sound-emptiness' is important for the import of this tantra as well. B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 14:13, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
It just means that I am non-sectarian and if you tell me to associate with a sect: I will identify myself more of a Ganapatya. I am one of the Dvija, but I hardly believe in the system. -- Redtigerxyz Talk 15:36, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
I am not sure if I (or you) figuring the parts of speech is appropriate, It may be regarded as WP:OR. Sanskrit is sometimes a complex language where a word has several meanings, choosing by non-experts by us will be regarded as OR. I suggest you find some book references for the job.-- Redtigerxyz Talk 12:30, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Wikisource has difference rules. There is no significant textual analysis by any of the translators. Hence, why I would like to do it. I am also engaging it as an opportunity to deepen my knowledge of Sanskrit which is already word rich but grammatically poor. I will not ply my commentary on Wikisource back into Wikipedia either, that would be inappropriate. I just added charnel ground to the article you are working on. Please link her with it where you can. The charnel ground subsumes the cremation ground. I know it was a bit nordy to add charnel ground I just felt I would push it under your nose once again. The charnel ground is a fascinating place that cuts across traditions which is why I like spending time there.

Article titles

Please stop creating articles with titles such as Necklace of Precious Pearls (mu tig rin po che'i phreng ba). The parenthetical non-English transliteration is completely inappropriate. See WP:Article titles for guidance. Abductive ( reasoning) 08:22, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

    • Moreover, in this case the relevant page is a policy and not a guideline, refusing to follow it is disruptive and should (will) be dealt with accordingly. 65.46.253.42 ( talk) 18:28, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
I just gave the policy a deep graze and I have contravened nothing in fact I intuited it. My choice was to ensure the articles were easy to find, recognizable, precise, consise and consistent. B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 01:48, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
This is clearly inappropriate. Mitsube ( talk) 04:16, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I have moved as many of the articles with Wylie Tibetan transliterations as I could find. It is clearly against the naming policy which both discourages overly long names and requires primacy to be given to English usage. ·Maunus·ƛ· 07:19, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
:-D B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 14:46, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Please stop creating more articles with wylie transcription in the title. You have been kindly asked not to do so by several editors providing reasons based in policy. To keep doing so without engaging in discussion is not productive but disruptive. ·Maunus·ƛ· 21:23, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
B9, we can resume the discussion of your disruptive behavior that nearly got you a long block before, if you would like. Mitsube ( talk) 06:12, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
What are you all going on about? What disruptive behavior? So somebody had to do some redirects on some article titles I created with a mix of English and Wylie in them. I hope they were thorough because when I last looked they hadn't don't a very good job. In that, many were left undone, half-done. Shoddy work. I heard it the first time when I was requested not to create an article with Wylie and English in the title and haven't done it since asked. That said, even though now in hindsight the Wylie would be more appropriate than English like many of the Wikipedia articles related to Sanskrit articles or Pali which have titles in those languages rather than the English. So why this endless tirade? I appreciate the chat but don't you have something better to do?  :-D B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 16:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Avadhuta Gita

Hi hummingbird, just wanted to drop a note of appreciation on this article. I think minor tweaks on tone are required, will work on it when time permits. well done! -- TheMandarin ( talk) 05:21, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Haha, Hummingbird, saw your comments. Let me give you something more important and ever lasting than the barnstar— BG 12 ( Hope you take it in right spirit and read it, this what we all need. ). -- TheMandarin ( talk) 17:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Dattatreya

Good job in improving Dattatreya. Let me know if you need help. -- Redtigerxyz Talk 13:27, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

I confess my ignorance about all other topics, expect Datta. Though I will keep a watch on the articles and jobs like copyediting, wikilinking etc. -- Redtigerxyz Talk 13:37, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
My Sanskrit is OK, I can write and speak medium level Sanskrit. What help regarding Sanskrit you need? -- Redtigerxyz Talk 13:40, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
I am neither Shaivite, Vaishnava, Shakta, Smarta, Twice-born, nondual or Nath. -- Redtigerxyz Talk 14:05, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Wonderful! Does that mean you're non-sectarian, irreligious, beyond the beyond or an Avadhuta?

1RR

Watch the 1 revert rule. And stop posting gibberish original synthesis like you did at Mindstream. Thanks, Mitsube ( talk) 22:42, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting the article: I left it in a god-awful state. I just needed an embedded section from the history of the article and just repasted it in the main current article for fun. Thanks for monitoring mindstream and protecting my work, it is appreciated.
B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 00:27, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Just cite content you wish to add. And remember that this is not a dictionary. Mitsube ( talk) 04:48, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Norns

Your move of Norns to the singular Norn has been reverted. Please achieve consensus for that move before undertaking it again. Also back up your claims with sources and don't delete already sourced statements without discussion. ·Maunus·ƛ· 14:26, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

:-D B9 hummingbird hovering ( talkcontribs) 16:30, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

flowery obscuration, love it. being linked with cults, wonderful. and my dear wikipedian-collegiates wonder why I rarely enter into conversation with such bland stupidity, all of them, those MOANING, have justly had their egos branded by the Hummingbird, this is true. as for not having a Teacher, that is not the intention of what I wrote and taken out of context. I have had innumerable teachers and still do, i have a root Guru in body, but that said my principal guru resides in my heartmind in secret aspect and I no longer need a teacher in the way that it was being presented to me is mandatory. It amazes me that a fervent, unaware, bigot has the floor in an Administrator thread, frightening really that these people are my peers, well nonduality is peerless and I have no fear

No problem, glad I could be of service. If I can be of further service, I would suggest toning down your eccentricities while on-wiki, if possible. Because if not, it may really end up costing you. We had a user who was recently blocked indefinitely, due partly to incessantly communicating via poems even in tense situations. You seem to be headed down a similar road. Just friendly advice. I won't be the one to block you (I don't have the ability), so this shouldn't be seen as any sort of threat. Just advice. Equazcion (talk) 11:50, 30 Apr 2010 (UTC)
