Beauford, I invite you to answer a set of questions for the Wikipedia Signpost about your board candidacy: Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2009 Board elections/Beauford Anton Stenberg. If you choose to do so, please let me know. I also encourage you to respond by 26 July; interviews with all candidates who respond will be publicized in the 27 July issue of the Signpost.

I am feeling trepidation and uncertainty at the moment. My notebook started to play up because my system secured some malicious code from an unauthorized Skype plugin, one of four I downloaded last weekend. At the same time Microsoft downloaded an update to Windows Explorer and Media Player which I had uninstalled and deleted from my system. I got the shits I started to delete and unstall things left right and centre, doing some significant system cleansing, whilst doing this my virus protection identified malicious code in my registry. I am new to this virus protection and I didn't see a quarantine function only a delete. Anywaze, after I deleted I couln't connect to the Internet anywhich way. I tried all my problem-solving and wiles but no cigar. There are no problems only solutions and I have a new friend who wishes to help me convert to Ubuntu/Linux: I want to do this and have wanted to do this transition for such a long time as it is inline with my values and yet I am playing hide and seek with my mate who wants to help me...I confuse and confound myself sometimes.

Metta is the primary use in scholarly discourse, and in fact the four immeasurables are all usually referred to by their Pali names. For early Buddhism and exclusively Theravada literature Pali makes the most sense (I am fine with keeping shunyata as the Sanskrit version however), otherwise Sanskrit for Mahayana concepts. Mitsube ( talk) 06:54, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
How about publishing a full article then, not just a one-liner? Your user space leaves plenty of room to create draft articles that can be put into the article space as a whole piece. So please don't complain about me redirecting what was not even a stub. De728631 ( talk) 13:56, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Please review Wikipedia:TPG -- in particular, please stop adding images and poetry to talk pages under the guise of 'invocations'. The purpose of an article's talk page is to discuss changes to article content, not to engage in creative writing, poetry or other such endeavors that have no place in _this_ encyclopedia. This is what blogs are for. Thank you. 166.205.133.96 ( talk) 23:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
